A new collection of Sonic software including the
much sought-after Sonic CD is gathered together in
Sega's new compilation disk. Sonic CD was originally
released on the Mega-CD in 1993 but became scarce
and prized in the years that followed. We recall
bloodthirsty fans searching for the game to complete
their collections to no avail. Sega performs fan
fulfillment over a decade later at an attractive
price.
Along with the Sonic games, Sega also throws in a selection of
Mega-Drive/Genesis titles including all three Bare
Knuckes where side scrolling beat 'em up action is
raging and both Vectormans.
Sega groups together another compilation of Sonic
software as follows:
• Sonic CD™ - From the Mega CD to
Playstation 2 over a decade later, the elusive Sonic CD
finally makes it to another console.
Originally released on
September 23, 1993 (Sega Mega-CD).
• Sonic the Fighters™ - Sonic,
Knuckles, Tails, and other animals bout like Fighting
Vipers in enclosed 3D arenas.
Originally released in June
1996 (Japanese arcades).
• Sonic R™ - Allowed to roam free,
Sonic decides to run. Speed along undulating and
winding routes with the wind behind your back and
Tails in the distance.
Originally released in
December 4, 1997 (Japanese Sega Saturn).
As if Sonic CD wasn't prized enough to warrant a purchase, the
following Game Gear titles are also compiled:
Game Gear
• Sonic the Hedgehog 2™ (Original
release on Nov. 21, 1992)
• Sonic Spinball™ (Never
released in Japan until now)
• Sonic & Tails 2™ (Original
release on Nov. 11, 1994)

• Tails' Skypatrol™ (Original

Not bad... but in another gesture of love for fans, Sega also
throws in the following Mega-Drive titles which have
nothing to do with Sonic:
