 PS2 Evangelion: Ayanami Ikusei Keikaku - The Best - New
   Taking place at the beginning of the Shinseiki Evangelion television series, Gendou Ikari hands you the responsibility of live-in teacher to Rei Ayanami. When you first meet her, she's pretty banged up with bandages all over and her arm's cradled by a sling. Similar to but not quite a blank slate, your young charge is recovering from injuries and it's up to you to help her heal mentally and physically. With a set of commands such as talk, visit town, and dress, you'll give her duties to perform and gradually win her confidence. Ayanami's day can consist of going to school, learning archery to improve her willpower, playing violin, or you can take her to the amusement park, among other venues. Each activity improves or diminishes one or more of her attributes. Along the way, you'll get to see Ayanami in various pieces of clothing. The PS2 conversion of the original Dreamcast game also includes a scenario featuring Asuka Langley.

   The Best re-release of Evangelion Ayanami Ikusei Keikaku is the same as the original game except at a lower price point and packaged under the "Best" reissue banner.

  Gorgeous wrestling ladies in theme outfits and scripted personas wrestle each other in standard ring matches as well as slick mud matches where gals grapple like thugs. Fighters to choose from include a cowgal named Dixie Clemets who naturally wears cowhide, a sadistic nurse named Anesthesia, a masked ninja warrior who answers to Bloody Shadow, the requisite punk rocker with a schoolgirl's image, a naughty teacher, a dominatrix-type, and others among a total of 10 full-bodied wrestling gals.

   Exploitation's the name of the game but whereas one might expect a subpar gaming performance given the theme, the action actually plays well. Yuke's developed the game and fans of the company's well known WWE games will find that the quality holds up. Think of the gratuitous shots as an added bonus to the refined game play. Finishing moves such as Lethals and Killers are available to end a match with flourish. Humiliation KOs may be pulled off where a hapless gal is spread-eagled (bare undies was exposed) for an inordinate amount of time although the aggressor may also be spread-eagled for a double dose of humiliation.

   The Asian version of Tales of Legendia arrived yesterday but the Japanese territory version is in stock today. Although there are no differences in the actual games or documentation, the Asian version also includes an English quick start guide which explains the controls in the game.
    Senel Coolidge and sister Shirley Fennes are adrift aboard a dinghy when they run ashore an island. Or so it seems at first glance. Their landing area turns out to be a massive ship once known as the Legacy which has since been cultivated by Mother Nature with plants, trees, and the inhabitants that live in the forest. Senel soon meets Will Raynard, sheriff of the town known as Werites Beacon. From these humble beginnings, Senel, Will, and many other comrades soon find themselves in a world spanning adventure.
   The world of Legendia is filled with energies which may be harnessed by practitioners of Eres, where the energies are manipulated and directed as offensive magic attacks which are classified under Iron and Crystal spells. An improved battle system also appears in the game which Namco dubs the "Crossover Linear Motion Battle System" which integrates elements from Namco's fighting games for rapid attacks as well as straightforward barrages against foes.

   To ensure safe transport of a precious Nintendo DS and assorted accessories, Keys Factory releases another officially licensed Active Pouch DS which features three modes of carriage. For those who like to lug things, a white cloth handle is located directly atop the pouch. Shoulder slingers accustomed to keeping their hands free are in luck with the shoulder strap attachment. Finally, members of the population who generally have a massive bag attached to their belt at all times will feel right at home by looping the strap + pouch around their waist. All bases are covered.
   Versatility isn't the Active Pouch's only advantage. It's cushiony material serves as a shock absorber against drops, bangs, bloopers, and other jarring effects that may otherwise crack a Nintendo DS wide open. Its four-tone color scheme is also eye-catching - a frilly pink zipper liner above a flaming red bag with beige and gray panels. Nothing else in the world uses this color scheme which makes it not only unique but simply irresistible.

   PS2 Cowboy Bebop Limited Edition, PSP Breath of Fire III, and PSP Twelve ~ Sengoku Fengshenden are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. All preorders will ship once the the shipments arrive.
