PLEASE READ: The NEW SHOP is separate and distinct from the OLD SHOP. If you place an order on the OLD SHOP, you will not be able to use the NEW SHOP to check on your order and vice versa. Unfortunately, we were not able to resolve the two shop databases in order to transfer customer histories and accounts. Both shops are fully operational and capable of taking orders.

PSP Ceramic White JPN

PSP Ceramic White PSP Value Pack - New Import
Originally released in glossy black and now rendered in lacquered white, the first PSP color variant is a beauty. While walking down the hallway this morning with one in hand, everyone who passed by asked if it was a new version of the PSP - as in completely new internally and externally. Fingerprints and skin oils still smudge the surface of the Ceramic White PSP but they're not as noticeable as the glossy black PSP. Dripping sloppy joe chunks and grape juice might show up in stark contrast however.

PC Watch Impress ran an article yesterday about the much maligned "SQUARE" button and opened one of the Ceramic PSPs up to determine if any changes had been made to the mold. The conclusion: the support receptacle has changed for a slight improvement but the base mold is still the same as before.

All preorders are shipping today. New orders are welcome for same-day dispatch as long as we receive your order before 5PM EST.

REVOLUTION Controller

 NEWS Tokyo Game Show Tidbits
• Nintendo unveiled the Revolution controller last night and a Norwegian website is hosting the complete video presentation from the TGS. Gamespot also has a write-up on the controller as does IGN along with photos of the controller, five color variants (lime green, graphite, cherry red, white and black), and a thumbstick accessory attached to the bottom of the main controller. We're curious if any Xavix technology was used in the design of the motion sensitive controller but the action shown in the video is reminiscent of the baseball, ping pong, boxing, and other self-contained television games that use Xavix motion technology.

• Microsoft confirmed at the TGS that the Xbox 360 will be movie and game region-protected for the three major territories - USA, Europe, and Japan. The Xbox 360 also won't be released in Singapore, Hong Kong, Korea, or Taiwan until 2006 which should keep exporters in Japan busy. Please wait for news on Japan Xbox 360 preorders since distributors won't have information until next week.

• Ruliweb has thrown up a good amount of TGS media downloads including photos on the flight to the Show and TGS babes. More babes. Download speeds may be slow throughout the day but Ruliweb has some worthwhile content today.

Metal Gear Solid 4 trailer - camcorder version (21 megs). Decent download speed as of this morning. Read impressions of the ~9 minute trailer on 1up.com.

• Bloomberg posted an article on Japanese game company mergers and list  Capcom and Konami as the next major publishers that may be looking to acquire or consolidate. An article citing Bandai's Shin Unozawa on rising software production costs was also posted this morning to lend credence to the merger buzz.

• IGN's coverage of Robert Bach's (Chief Xbox Officer) TGS keynote address given earlier today.
