GBA Screw Breaker - New Import

What was stolen must be recovered and a purple-haired gal drops herself in a mobile drilling machine to retrieve her mother's precious bauble. With a powerful spinning tip, the mighty drill machine tunnels through barriers, into secret areas, and other locations. The drill spins with a tap of the L or R trigger, with either button sending the drill rotating in one direction or the other. At the outset of the game, the drill spins for a short time before heat stops it cold but power-up gears may be obtained which extend the drill time. Shifting gears is performed by tapping the trigger and then tapping it again quickly to shift higher. The gears are represented at the top of the screen with purple discs. The first gear is a baby disc followed by second and third gears. When shifting between gears, it's possible to see which gear is active by the vibrating cog at the top of the screen.

Exotic power-ups may also be picked up including a propeller which is attached to the tip of the drill to allow for mid-air drilling and short bursts of flight. There's a little vibration mechanism built into the Screw Breaker cartridge which shakes when the drill is in motion.
