GBM Smart Case Micro JPN

GBM Smart Case Micro - New Import
Japanese manufacturer Keys Factory produces a slick and slim carrying case for the Gameboy Micro which affords little room for anything else inside. A velcro backed strap keeps the case closed and a metal ring on the back of the Smart Case allows for attachment to a belt loop, a strap, or other carriage mechanism. The velcro strap is also weighed down with a metal clip which allows for easier clamping on the go. The sides of the Smart Case are not completely closed and there are open spaces in the event the Gameboy Micro ever needs air or sun. Two colors are available for sale today: White on white and Black with red strap.
Bottom Line:
A stylish Gameboy Micro case which was designed to be compact and simple without doodads.

GBM Wallet Pouch Micro JPN

GBM Wallet Pouch Micro - New Import
Not content with shipping one GBM case this week, Japanese manufacturer Keys Factory also ships a cloth carrying case for the Gameboy Micro which is slightly roomier inside than the Smart Case Micro. The Wallet Pouch also holds true to its namesake by including a little side panel "wallet" which will hold credit cards and cash. The main pouch holds the Gameboy Micro securely but there's a little extra room inside for tucking away a couple of GBA cartridges or a spare Lithium Ion battery. The Wallet Pouch is made of a durable canvas material that will bead rain and liquids instead of absorbing it. Three colors are in stock today: Navy, Olive, and White.

PSP Filter Portable Plus JPN

PSP Filter Portable Plus - New Import
The Filter Portable Plus is an enhanced version of the original Hori Screen Filter which covers the screen of the PSP with a crystal clear, protective film. Two additional pieces of film are included which protect the left and right sides of the PSP from grimy fingerprints and other unsightly smudges. The application method is simple but NCS' instructions are as follows:

Screen Filter Application
1) Use the included cloth to wipe any dust from the PSP screen and any smudges from the face of the PSP.
2) Take hold of the screen film and pull on the clear oval tab to remove the backing. Grip the film by its edges, taking care not to touch the bottom.
3) Lay the screen film on top of the PSP screen with the red rectangular tab located on the lower right side of the PSP screen.
4) Rub out any air bubbles by using the cloth.
5) Gently pull on the red tab and lift it up to remove.
6) If dust motes have accidentally scattered across the bottom portion of the filter, use a piece of scotch tape to lift them up before application.

Face Filter Application
1) The filter with the red tab goes on the face button side and the filter with the blue tab goes on the D-pad side.
2) Peel the face button filter from its backing and lay the lower-right side of it down first. Slide the rest of it over the PSP. Rub out any bubbles. Once acceptable, peel the red tab away.
3) Follows the instructions above for the D-pad side application but pull on the blue tab once done.

Once applied, the Filter Portable Plus competently prevents smudges from ever soiling the face of the PSP again. Since your oily fingers will continue to contact the D-pad and face buttons, those will still become slightly gooey but they don't smudge or appear as unsightly as the other face portions of the PSP. A few photos of proper film orientation may be viewed.

TOY RAH Darth Vader JPN

Burnt Anakin Variant

TOYS Real Action Heroes: Darth Vader ROtS - Preorder
Tomy has started preorders for a Revenge of the Sith variant of their Real Action Heroes Darth Vader figure. Looking over the original RAH Darth Vader that was released last month in Japan and photos of the new one, the two appear to be identical. The difference then has to be inside.
The original RAH Darth figure features an older, pudgier, pastier Anakin whose burns have healed with slight scarring. The ROtS variant depicts Anakin after the lava singe with ruined skin and deep tissue scarring.
Although the pictures don't show it, the back of young Anakin's head will also be well crisped. The RAH figure measures a little over 12" tall and is fully posable for threatening action stances. Pricing is set at Y18900 or $209 from NCS and preorders will ship in mid-late December.
