 TOYS Real Action Heroes Ultraman and Willy Wonka - Preorder
   Continuing the recent spate of Real Action Heroes announcements, Medicom has started preorders for an Ultraman C-Type figure where the chrome-domed superhero is decked out in red and silver skivvies. Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka will also ship in a few months where the confectioner appears in a natty costume and peers out at the world from dark comical glasses while sporting a ghastly pallor. Both figures measure roughly 12" tall and are fully posable for impressive gestures and stances. Preorders will ship in January 2006.

   The irascible rascals from Ichigo Mashimaro find themselves rendered in colorful PVC representations of their manga and anime counterparts. From the left to the right, the gals are: Chika Itoh, Miu Matsuoka, Matsuri Sakuragi, and Ana Coppola. Conspicuously missing is Chika's older sister Nobue which makes this collection of figures the junior league. The young 'uns. Two variants of each figure are featured in the collection for a total of eight along with four secret figure variants where the gals wear different pieces of clothing although their fat-cheeked faces are the same. Each little troublemaker measures 10cm or 3.93" tall and roughly 1.5" wide. Although they are non-posable, the girls have enough charm and moxie to give the illusion of simmering mischief underneath their calm exteriors. 
   Pricing is set at Y600 in Japan or US$7.50 per figure from NCS. Delivery is expected in January 2006.
