 PS2 Nadia: Inherit the Blue Water LE - LATE Import
   Fushigi no Umi no Nadia starts off at the Paris Exposition Universelle (World's Fair) in 1889 where the Eiffel Tower is unveiled to the masses and serves as the gateway into the Fair. The protagonist takes a train to the venue and eventually meets up with Nadia and cohorts. After an encounter with a pair of hoodlums and their redheaded mistress, Nadia and protagonist are inducted into the crew of a submarine named the Eltrium.
 
   Part interactive adventure and full-blown submarine action game, Nadia serves as an engrossing experience for fans of the animation. After pressing "Start" at the main menu, the option to hone one's submarine skills may be tested in the Tutorial which contains six lessons for maneuvering a submarine and attacking enemy subs. The action portion of the game is viewed from an overhead perspective where the sub is represented by a little icon which surges through a grid-based ocean. The left Dual Shock analog thumbstick controls direction while the right analog thumbstick provides thrust. Two meters which measure Speed and Shield are located on the lower left corner of the screen. Four options are available to the submarine crew during battle: Attack / Repair / Info / Electora. <more>

 GBA Final Fantasy IV - Preorder
   Square Enix has started preorders for the Japanese version of GBA Final Fantasy IV at Y4800 and a Gameboy Micro + FFIV Bundle at Y16800. The Gameboy Micro included with the bundle may be a silver GBM with a Final Fantasy themed faceplate but we'll have more details soon. Preorders are welcome today for delivery on December 15, 2005. Please note that the USA version of FFIV is scheduled for December 12.

Famicom Mini Reissue
   We assumed that the reissue of Famicom Mini Vol. 1 Super Mario Bros  from a few weeks ago was identical to the original release. Essentially, the game inside is the same but the outer plastic carton is now decorated with a Happy Mario 20th Anniversary logo on the upper left and little 3-color imprints of Mario, a koopa troopa, and other bits on the lower portion of the plastic. We have these in stock today at US$29.
Columbus Day
   In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue and eventually gave postal workers and bond market traders a three-day vacation. Please note that domestic and international postal shipments will resume tomorrow.
