PS2 Silver Slim Controller JPN
 PS2 Silver Slime Controller - Preorder
   Looks like our decision not to buy the limited edition Silver Slime controllers from alternate vendors a few weeks ago at ~US$120 was the correct one.    Hori has announced a new production of the controller which will be openly distributed to Japanese retailers on November 23.

   After selling out at the Tokyo Game Show, a few shops who snagged surplus quantities of the Silver controller offered them to us at high prices since we weren't able to stock enough of them for our preorders. We were tempted to make a bid but were wary of Hori's possible reproduction. Preorders for the Silver Slime controller are welcome to ship in late November at the price of US$49. Blue Slime controllers are currently in stock. 
 
 


TOYS Cammy Figure JPN
 TOY Cammy 1/6 Scale Figure - Preorder
   Kaiyodo has started preorders for a pair of 1/6 scale Cammy Figures from the Street Fighter Zero 3 game. Part of the Wonder Showcase Plus series, Cammy appears in a white and a black version with blue or red cap and matching forearm guards. Her hair is pulled back and weaved into double braids which arc around her back. A sword-like sprig of hair pokes out of her forehead for added verification that Cammy's hair really is platinum blonde. The body suit is form fitting while the boots are nearly thigh-high. Cammy measures 26cm or 10.23" tall and ships with a mounting disk for display purposes. Please note that this item is fully assembled and prepainted. The Wonder Showcase Plus series of figures are based on garage kits by the original sculptor but are finished versions which are ready for display. Preorders are welcome today for delivery in February 2006. 
 
 


TOYS TC 21 Broadcast JPN
 TOY Transformers Collection 21 - Preorder
   Takara has announced Transformers Collection 21 which features the Autobot known as Broadcast who transforms from boxy shouldered robot to silver/orange boombox with a slim handle on top. The yellow plate with see-through window on Broadcast's chest becomes the cassette deck door when in audio equipment mode. The little black circles below its knees become the speakers. A hand cannon is included in the packaging which may be gripped in either hand. Broadcast, a member of the mighty Cassettebots was recently revived in the Transformers Headmasters cartoon series as Twincast.
   Transformers Collection 21 will ship in February 2006 and preorders are welcome today. Takara is expected to close their reservation campaign for vendors on November 7 but we'll order a hefty surplus to keep in stock since cassette-bots usually sell well. Pricing is set at Y4500 or US$49 from NCS.

Import Delay
   Due to a clearance delay, all new imports are now expected tomorrow. We should have split the massive boxes of Hori Real Arcade Pro v2.0 joysticks from the software shipments since the joysticks are holding everything up. Please note that we had to raise the price of the joysticks to US$129 due to UPS' 12.5% fuel surcharge that was assessed after the shipping costs for the freight.
Fuku Fuku No Shima Update
   Rather than endure the cost and problems involved with a recall, Sony has pulled Fuku Fuku no Shima from shipping this week because of a coding glitch discovered in the game. The new ship date has been rescheduled to November 10. In Fuku Fuku, players travel to an island to have their fortunes told by multiple disciplines. Curious gamers may also have a psychological profile built based on answers given and actions taken.
