NCS Synopsis
   Taito re-engineered the "Breakout" game with Arkanoid in the late 80s and their D3 Publisher subsidiary continues the paddle-meet-ball tradition with The Block Kuzushi on the NDS. Already a popular Simple Series game on the PS1 and PS2, Kuzushi features standard fare where colored blocks are broken by batting a ball at them. Use the stylus to guide the paddle to slap the ball, pick up power-ups and endure the levels. In addition to the Standard Game, there's also a Survival Mode where up to eight players may participate and a Quest Mode where bricks and bosses are similarly smashed with the ball. Similar to Arkanoid, there are different types of bricks such as the standard colored brick which is destroyed with one hit, steel bricks which require multiple hits, and other barriers.
