 NDS More Brain Games - Preorders

   Nintendo's finger is firmly on the pulse of changing fads in the gaming landscape. When something works (read: sells), more of a good thing is never bad. With the success of non-games such as NDS Rakubiki Jiten and Nou wo Kitaeru Otona no DS Training, Nintendo has opened preorders for a new brain game, an English language tutor, and Namco gets in on the non-game action as well.      
1) Touhoku Daigaku Mirai Kagaku Gijutsu Kyoudou Kenkyuu Center Kawashima Ryuuta Kyouju Kanshuu: Motto Nou wo Kitaeru Otona no DS Training 2. Professor Ryuuta Kawashima supervises another collection of brain twisters which require quick thinking and reflexes. Preorders will ship on December 29, 2005.
2) DS Adult English Training. Helpful for Japanese citizens anxious to learn English by way of drills, practice, and reiteration. Preorders will ship on January 26, 2005.
3) Unou no Tatsujin: Soukai! Machigai Museum. Stare at two nearly identical images and tap the differences that are one of them. There's also an interaction where blowing on the microphone shoves fallen leaves out of the way to view the images underneath to discern any incongruities. Then there's the jigsaw puzzles, the robot re-construction, and many more... Preorders will ship on February 9, 2006.

EMS USB Dragon Drive
   Hong Kong based manufacturer EMS has released a USB 2.0 flash drive which has been the bastion of manufacturers such as Sandisk and Lexar. The USB Dragon looks like one of the Lexar Jump Drives with the cap and transparent shell. EMS offers two versions - a 256MB model and a 512MB model. Their prices are fairly competitive and we suppose they'll find a market somewhere. The 256MB version is vendor priced at US$13 for quantities under 5000 units and the 512MB model goes for US$26. NCS has no plans to stock the USB Dragon at this time.

Outlook for Next Week
   The biggest import for next week is PS2 Beatmania IIDX 10th Style which will be available in regular and Konamistyle Limited Editions. The Ceramic White PSP Giga Pack with a 1GB Duo Pro is also expected along with PS2 Kidou Senshi Gundam Seed: Rengou vs Z.A.F.T.

   Today is a national holiday in the USA and the postal service is on hiatus until tomorrow. Since we won't be able to ship any Priority Mail, Global Priority Mail, or Express Mail packages today, we will resume normal shipping for USPS services on Saturday, November 12.

   Thanks to everyone who has signed up for the NCS affiliate program this past week. Since some visitors have complained that they're unable to locate the link for the affiliate program that we posted on Monday of this week, we are rehashing the info today.
   The NCS affiliate program is being handled through a third party provider and registered applicants will be able to check bank-in amounts in real time as transactions are recorded. For the time being, all sales that are forwarded to our shop at www.ncsxshop.com will be granted a 3.8% sales commission. Help sell $1000 worth of goods and pocket $38.
