   Japanese sculptor Bomé continues his streak of creating sexy representations of the female anime form with another figure. Bomé takes a pink-haired pin-up gal from artist NAS-O and crafts her into a sleek and wiry objet d'art that just happens to be perched on a stool. A bit of tiled floor supports Bunny Girl's left leg while her right leg is hiked up on her thigh. A pair of bunny ears are angled atop her head while a blue bow wraps around her neck. Below, a full bosom allows eagle-eyed oglers a full view of Bunny Girl's ample resources. The figure measures 15cm or roughly 5.90" tall from floor to the top of her ears and is pre-painted, pre-assembled, and ready for display.

NCS Followup
   Bunny Girl is a beautiful sculpture but her right hand could use a little more detailing and structure. We also disagree with Kaiyodo's use of white highlights on BG's pink hair. From a distance, the white specks look like a bad dye job. We would have recommended a pink glaze paint for true shine. Other than these two niggles, Bunny Girl meets our expectations but we'd be interested in a repaint variant with blue hair and a white outfit.

   This bunny-girl was the first model I made from one of Mr. NAS-O's drawings. Back when I made it, Kaiyodo was still in their old building, where the summers were drippingly hot and the winters were incredibly cold. It was a rough place to work , both physically and mentally. But working everyday on Mr. NAS-O's bunny-girl filled me with joy, as it had been my dream for many years. There actually exists 2 bunny-girl models on which I have completed all the paint work myself. One of them is at Mr. NAS-O's. The other was exhibited at the Cartier Foundation in Paris- it has since then returned to Japan, and is showing at events around the country. The current bunny-girl model will be released as a PVC pre-painted figure, which allowed me to try out the welding technique on the base that I have always wanted to try. I hope you like it!

   Japanese manufacturer N-Sky releases PVC trading figures based on the gals of School Rumble. Tenma Tsukamoto sits on an inflatable ring while the other girls such as Mikoto Suoh, Eri Sawachika, Sarah Adiemus, and the rest of the gang pose in their swimsuits. The figures measure 10cm (3.93") and a white disc pedestal will be included with the figures that are standing or kneeling for display purposes. Seven normal paint figures are assorted in the set but there are also seven repaints of the figures.

   Hamster has announced the next two volumes of their Oretachi Game Center series of games which are scheduled to ship on January 26, 2006.

Oretachi Game Center: Quarth
   A puzzle game where players control a ship that fires at Tetris-like blocks to fill them in so that they become whole and disappear from the screen. Unlike most puzzle games, Quarth has a story and a definite conclusion. 

Oretachi Game Center: Nekketsu Kouha Kunio-Kun
   The game that started the whole Kunio-kun vs Riki rivalry and led to many games on the Famicom. Although Kunio-kun and yankii gangsters made their debut in 1986, the fighting action still plays well despite the dated visuals.

   Taito has started preorders for New Rainbow Islands where the chubby child named Bub from the original Rainbow Islands game (1987) returns for more rainbow throwing action. Instead of the arched rainbows found in the original game, New Rainbow Islands features stylus drawing action where circular rainbows may be drawn which capture enemies and triangular rainbows which freeze foes. Battle little beasts as well as end level bosses across seven islands which feature various stages within them.

   Konami brings Gradius love to the PSP on February 9, 2006 when they bundle four Gradius games on one UMD. That's Gradius, Gradius II, Gradius III, and Gradius IV. Various online sources throw Gradius Gaiden in the mix but the preorder solicitation from Konami only lists Gradius I to IV.
   In addition to all that shmup action, a versatile save feature allows saving at anytime on any game, various in-game options to enhance the challenge, and a bonus gallery full of art, movies, and music from other Gradius games will make it into the UMD.
