After some interaction and questioning of townfolk, the proper baseball action, training, and more commences. As expected, the main baseball game plays well with the default targeting cursor which indicates where a player will swing or pitch. Additional game modes include Home Run derby and quick play baseball games.    Over 100 levels are featured in the game but we noticed a few that were suspiciously familiar. Sega rehashes some levels in the game but thankfully, there are many new and innovative levels to discover as well. As with other Super Monkey Ball games, six mini-games may be enjoyed including one where the monkeys race each other on a track and another where air hockey takes center stage.

The ultimate goal is to commandeer a hot air balloon to rescue the princess. To purchase products in the game, players venture out to gather up sunflower seeds in the meadow which serves as the currency of the land. Zoids unit formation and battles have been stream-lined for more efficient play thanks to the stylus and touch screen.
