Upon starting a battle, the arena spins into view and the action starts. To select a fighter in your camp, tap on his icon underneath the NDS touch screen and he'll enter the battle. Combination attacks that all three fighters participate in may also be triggered with with stylus. One day, a game arrived called "Cameltry" and the box cover featured a big 'ol camel that appeared to be chewing something. Fearing the worse, we plugged it in and within a minute, were completely hooked. Using just the triggers of the SFC controller, players rotated an entire maze around a ball to guide it to a goal. Over a decade later, Taito rehashes the principle of Cameltry but instead of dubbing the game Cameltry Reloaded, they went with Mawashite Koron (Spin Drop). NDS Power Pro Pocket 8 - New Import    ©NCS: Moving from Gameboy Advance to Nintendo DS, Konami releases the latest version of Power Pro Pocket exclusively on the stylus-powered handheld. In the title screen, a baseball player carries a gun which factors in the story line of the game as you'll see in the introductory sequence. After some interaction and questioning of townfolk, the proper baseball action, training, and more commences. As expected, the main baseball game plays well with the default targeting cursor which indicates where a player will swing or pitch. Additional game modes include Home Run derby and quick play baseball games. Mini-games abound including logical bomb avoidance, a side-scrolling Contra parody where a baseball player shoots like a soldier, racing, and an isometric run 'n gun shooter.

NDS Slime MoriMori DQ2 JPN

NDS Slime MoriMori: Dragon Quest 2 - New Import    ©NCS: After dominating the Shocking Tails Gang in the first Slime MoriMori game, the unblinking blue Slime bounds into action once again. In the new storyline, fellow Slime have once again been abducted and it's up to blue Slime to bust heads and shake things up to rescue them. Similar to the first adventure, blue Slime interacts with its environment in unusual ways. In addition to a powerful ricochet attack, Slime may also finesse its way through the world by squishing itself into a pancake, dash into objects to bounce them up, catch objects that are dropping down, and even hover for short intervals. Fellow Slime that have been rescued may be carried on top of its teardrop dome just like in the original GBA prequel. Slime has special skills but even though its abilities are innate, it will have to rely on vehicles and machinery throughout the game to reach its goals and accomplish tasks.

NDS Super Monkey Ball DS - New Import    ©NCS: Simian rolling antics are a lot like Pac-Man rolling antics. Borrowing the play mechanics from Pac 'n Roll, players move the indomitable AiAi by sliding the stylus on a representation of AiAi encased in a monkey ball on the lower Nintendo DS screen while the top screen shows all of the fast-paced action. To stop on a dime, tap the center of the ball and AiAi halts his roll.    Over 100 levels are featured in the game but we noticed a few that were suspiciously familiar. Sega rehashes some levels in the game but thankfully, there are many new and innovative levels to discover as well. As with other Super Monkey Ball games, six mini-games may be enjoyed including one where the monkeys race each other on a track and another where air hockey takes center stage.

As the story goes, Princess Hatena of the kingdom has been locked in a tower and the gang has to perform all manner of tasks, answer questions, and live their lives to help her. The ultimate goal is to commandeer a hot air balloon to rescue the princess. Hamutaro is the star of the game but he'll have to cooperate with fellow hamsters in order to reach their goals before the big rescue mission may commence. To purchase products in the game, players venture out to gather up sunflower seeds in the meadow which serves as the currency of the land. Once enough seeds are collected, they may be used to purchase furniture to outfit Hamutaro's house with snazzy material things.

NDS Zoids Saga DS: Legend of Arcadia - New Import    ©NCS: Heroes and attendant Zoids mechs from the popular animation (original Zoids, Fuzors, etc) conglomerate together for a stylus powered action-adventure game which is a remake of the Gameboy Advance version of Zoids Saga II. Over 40 pilots such as Jack, Regina, and Ace appear in the game and over 200 Zoids make an appearance including the default Sabre Lion, Shield Liger, Command Wolf, Iron Kong, and more. Zoids unit formation and battles have been stream-lined for more efficient play thanks to the stylus and touch screen.
