Exactly 15 years after Rockman X debuted on the Super Famicom console, Capcom remakes the game with rendered visuals and crisp animated cinemas that relay the story in the game. The BGM and sound effects have also been upgraded to match the brand new graphics. NCS was expecting a 1:1 conversion of the levels but Capcom has modified the stage layouts and item locations (armor, tanks, etc) to confound gamers who were expecting to blaze through the game with tried and true routines.
