PS2 Tales of the Abyss JPN

PS2 Tales of the Abyss - New Import

©NCSX▪ Lead heroes Luke fone Fabre and Tear Grants are joined by a supporting cast in a story which ties together ancient prophecies, factions, and the possible re-release of a wafting terror. The battle system is dubbed the Flexible-Range Linear Motion Battle System where the fighters are able to wander the battlefield after blows and magic attacks. The environments in Abyss are interactive - trees may be felled to create bridges to cross bodies of water and rocks may be destroyed to gain passage to other parts of the game world. Mini games in Abyss include kitchen detail <more>

PS2 All Star Kakutou JPN

PS2 Simple 2000 Series Vol. 91: All Star Kakutou - New Import

©NCSX▪ Superstars of the Simple Series bout it out in 2D combat. Fourteen heroes and heroines from D3 Publisher's eclectic mix of Superlite 2000 games gather together in a budget minded battle royale. Ever wonder who would win if Riho Futaba from Love*Mahjong went toe to toe against the sword swinging sister from Oane-Chan-Bara? We neither but if you ever bolt awake at night with that very question nagging at you, All Star Kakutou allows insomniacs to settle the question once and for all. Although the combatants in the game are generally the gals from D3P's library of female exploitation games, the male soldier from Sandlot-developed Earth Defense Force joins the amazons with his helmet, uniform, and blaster in tow. NCS Game Notes.

PSP EXIT JPN

 PSP EXIT - New Import

©NCSX▪ Take control of the dashing Mr. Esc and lead hapless citizens trapped in hairy situations from danger to safety. To accomplish Esc's life saving role, gamers may guide him to climb, crawl, shimmy, leap, swim, and race through the levels to reach victims of circumstance. Scenarios include rescuing children and adults from a burning building, a frozen hotel, a submerged subway station, and even a hospital that has been damaged by an earthquake. The different situations call for finesse and quick thinking to successfully navigate through the obstacles and built-in dangers. It would be bad if Mr. Esc became a victim of circumstance himself. Items may be used during the various escapades including a rope, a fire extinguisher, a flashlight, and keys to open locked doors. Some levels require teamwork between Mr. Esc and a rescued victim in order to pass certain areas. Exit features 100 levels of action but additional levels may be downloaded.

PSP Karakuri JPN

 PSP Karakuri - New Import

©NCSX▪ Once upon a time, an ancient civilization had the technological know-how to create humanoid worker-bots known as Karakuri. Although the civilization has since disappeared, their robotic handiwork has withstood the passage of time. Dormant and in standby mode, the wee bots would still be in stasis if a wandering explorer named Bolt hadn't rediscovered them. Like ducklings to mama, a gang of Karakuri burn Bolt into their memory chips under the title of "Master" and obey his instructions. The Karakuri are versatile servants who may be used as weapons as well as tools to traverse dangerous distances. Guide Bolt through various levels and use the Karakuri to navigate obstacles, arrange them in flanking configuration, shuttle through cramped areas, and fly through the air to reach new areas. The Karakuri may also be arranged into surprising shapes to bypass puzzles.

PSP Piposaru Academia 2 JPN

PSP Piposaru Academia 2 - New Import

©NCSX▪ A new crop of apes join the Piposaru Academy and only the best recruits get to graduate. Take control of a simian frosh and play janken (aka Rock, Paper, Scissors) to launch mini-games which test reflexes as well as screen cue timing skills. Piposaru Academia 2 features 100 action games including monkey in cars racing, cannon firing, soccer, baseball, whack-an-ape, conveyer belt running, and many other exercises. The games we tested this morning were on the whole, short and enjoyable. We thought more could have been done with the monkey smacking mini-game where two pips straddle a pedestal and whack each other with jumbo jousting pugil sticks. For example, options could include jousting against multiple opponents or larger than life bruisers. As it is, there are a few one-on-one bout-themed mini-games in Academia which takes place in different locales and with different weapons.
