* Snake wears a "Jack" mask at the outset of the third MGS3SE variant. Only after falling from the back of a plane, opening his parachute, gliding down into the forest, losing some gear on a tree branch, and landing like a man-beast does he peel away the mask and discard it. Actually, it's only after Jack receives the first call from his C.O. that he removes his mask. Snake begins the game as his grizzled old self in the other three variants.

* Before Snake can leave the first area, he'll have to retrieve his gear from the tree branch. Climb the tree by walking up to it and then press TRIANGLE to climb the trunk. Once on a branch, press TRIANGLE again to hang down and then sidle towards the stranded backpack to take it back.

* After sending Snake plummeting over a cliff, the words "Snake is Dead" appear on the screen and his C.O. screams... "SNAKE!!!" The words will eventually morph into TIME PARADOX. If Snake is sent into the deep part of the alligator swamp, he'll eventually drown. Walking over an alligator's tail will also make the beast whip it around to cause some damage.

* After playing the game using the 3rd Person View, one wonders why Kojima didn't implement it in the first place. The game is a whole new experience and gamers will play through the entire game again to check out the refreshing view.

DVD #2 Contents
* The intro in DVD2 shows Snake being commended by his cohorts followed by scenes of a small regiment of soldiers following Snake into missions of subterfuge and sabotage and text which touts the joys of Metal Gear Online. A whole group of soldiers move stealthily in cardboard crates and follow their fearless leader. Super comical. In another scene, a dozen or so targeting lasers roam Snake's body while he stands against a column. The intro cinema continues with more scenes of multiplayer online action where Snake shows his crew how to move and attack. They strut and synchronize their movements later on in and the intro ends with Snake standing in front of a barracks while his crew is behind him above the barracks.

* The options in disk 2 are as follows

ONLINE MODE : Set up an internet connection and enjoy Metal Gear Online.

SNAKE VS MONKEY : The Piposaru apes prove worthy opponents against the super agent in seven levels
   /Escape from the Jungle
   /Dragnet of the Apes

/** The four remaining levels must be unlocked

METAL GEAR 2 SOLID SNAKE : MSX version of the original MGS2 game from 1990

OPTIONS : Set Vibration, toggle blood, change camera mode, toggle captions, adjust screen

* The retro MG games may be played with the D-pad or the L-analog but the D-pad is much preferred. Original and Easy versions are selectable in the respective games.
