Professional lady assassins battle the undead once more in a 3D sword swinging action game where body parts and blood shower the levels. Zombies are incarnating right out of the ground and only two killer amazons and a little sister can stem the barrage. Slow, shaky, and strangely resolute, the zombies appear in waves and attack in numbers.  NDS Animal Crossing Bags - New Import

    ©NCSX▪ To commemorate the release of Animal Crossing on the NDS, Nintendo ships three carrying bags with little straps on top. If the attached hand strap isn't to your liking, a longer strap may be attached to the bag for strapping across your shoulder or waist. In our estimation, the bags look like purses, be it a man-purse or a woman-purse. Prada and LV will never weave an NDS specific bag so this is your best shot at a stylish game carrier. 
   For easy access to the inside, two zippers on top open and close the bag while the rectangular bottom allows for stable positioning on a tabletop or floor. Three colors are available: pastel blue, lime green, or brown. Surprisingly, there isn't a pink variant to match the most popular NDS color of the season - candy pink. Each bag features a little Animal Crossing tag that's attached to the top strap by way of a chain. Inside, the bag holds an NDS unit and a bunch of games. Pricing per bag is set at US$23 each.

   ©NCSX▪ When storing products, the simplest container design is a box. Throw the product inside and you're ready to rock and roll. Or something like that. Nintendo takes this philosophy to heart with a rectangular pouch which holds an NDS, a small library of software, and a couple of styluses. The pouches feature an Animal Crossing character (Boy+Girl or the guitar wielding Totakeke) on its cover and two colors are available: pastel blue or lime green.  Unzip the pouch and marvel at the spacious innards which accommodate everything you need for a portable Nintendo DS party.

Mai Shiranui 1/6 Scale Cold Cast Figure
   ©NCSX▪ Toy manufacturer Newline has started preorders for a 1/6 scale Mai Shiranui cold cast figure which ships in April 2006 at Y13,800 or US$139 NCS.
   The figure is fully assembled and pre-painted for immediate display on its wooden base. Newline's Mai sculpture hails from the original Fatal Fury game and she's garbed in her traditional flimsy crimson uniform and topped with an ornamental hairpin. She carries her fan in upside down fashion in one hand while her other hand clasps a breast. Mai stands on her tiptoes while leaning forward and peering to the side with hair flipping through the air. Preorders are welcome today to ship in mid-late April 2006.
Yamato Mechanic File - Clear Var.
   ©NCSX▪ Bandai has announced a clear hull variant of their Space Battleship Yamato mechanic file where 8 candy toy parts are snap-locked together to form the famous space cruiser. The clear hull allows for viewing of the internal structure and craftsmanship of the Yamato. The complete ship measures 37cm (14") long and preorders ship in April 2006.

 NEWS Toy Shipment: 11:36AM EST Update

   A bunch of toys arrived a few minutes ago but we haven't had a chance to break down all of the boxes and cartons yet. From our early inspection, we can confirm that the Mario / Goomba Mice are now in stock along with the oft-delayed S.A.C. 2nd GIG Ghost in the Shell Tachikoma 1:24 Scale Construction Kit. We'll process and ship preorders today and update our impressions and post photos tomorrow.
   Update: 11:48AM We don't see the Alter Kos-Mos figures in today's shipment but we're guessing they'll arrive in the next few days since they were released a few days ago in Japan.
