Game Synopsis
©NCSX▪
A little over 5 years after appearing on Japanese
PCs, Nihon Falcom licenses the conclusive chapter of
the Gagharv Trilogy to Bandai and closes out the
series on the PSP.
Main character Fort is an aspiring musician who strums songs on a
sitar and wants to touch people with his tunes. Una
is a bright-eyed painter who works at a factory and
plays a mean flute. Una also sees Fort as a love
interest. One day, Fort's gramps Macvein
dusts off his harp and starts strumming again - why has the
music returned to the old coot? One day, they find a
book detailing the "Phantom Melody" and their lives are
changed forever when they're drawn into a world
spanning adventure. Fellow musicians include a
violinist named Altos and a blue-haired gal named
Aida. As members of a troupe of musicians, Fort, Uma,
and Gramps travel around the countryside and play their melodies for the
folk. Since music is a big part of the game, it's used in
battles to impact sonic/resonant damage to
beasts and creatures. Similar to previous Legend of
Heroes games, the pet system allows animals to join
the battle and an extra scenario is included to add
value for PC gamers who have already completed the
game.
Every order will include a bonus Legend of
Heroes cardboard slipcase with alternate artwork
which the game case slides into. A second laminated
cardboard slipcase is also included which holds the
game and first slipcase safely within its confines.
This game is also known as Legend of Heroes V: A
Cagesong of the Ocean.
