CD Front Mission 5 Original Soundtrack - New Import

 ©NCSX· After providing the music for Front Mission 4 and Front Mission Online, among other Square productions, Hidenori Iwasaki returns to create the 71 tracks in the Front Mission 5 soundtrack. Hidenori's collaborator is Kenichiro Fukui who most recently worked on Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. The first track, Children of the War, is a haunting tune which is reminiscent of works by Enya with its slow layered chanting. Many tracks are evocative of marching music with rhythmic and energetic drums while others have driving beats and sweeping synths that would fit comfortably at a London techno event. Then there's the tracks that don't seem to jibe with everything else such as Ne M'Oubliez Mie (translation: Forget Me Not) which is a solo piano piece with no other accompaniment.
