Game Synopsis

The island nation of Kuchen (the German word for
cake, or in the case of Meine Liebe, cheesecake)
sits west of Europe and its pride is the elite
Rosenstoltz Academy. The cream of the nation's
able-bodied youth attend the co-ed Academy for their
higher education. The best of the best at
Rosenstoltz are chosen to be Strahl candidates who
are groomed to become future advisors and stewards
of Kuchen. Five handsome young men - Orpheus,
Ludwig, Edward, Naoji, and Camus are Strahl
candidates who enjoy camaraderie, rivalry, and
friendship as they hurtle towards manhood.
Then there's you - a man eater. Dressed in your frilly dress and
dainty shoes, your goal is to catch the eye of one
of the men and pull him away from his brothers in
arms. By way of interactive conversation and
elective choices, the protagonist's ultimate aim is
to beguile and eventually bag a Strahl candidate.

Six main characters with convoluted names populate
the world of Mein Liebe as follows:

The Strahl Candidates - all of the guys are 19 years
old
Orpheus Furst von Marmelade Nahe Gorz /
Blonde guy who's a rival to Ludwig Herzog but a
close friend to Edward. Feels pain inside due to the
untimely death of his sister.
Ludwig Herzog von Mohn Nahe Liechtenstain /
Blue-haired guy in a vampire cloak and an old friend
of Camus. Aristocratic to a fault and sniffs when
peasants are about. His blue-blood pedigree makes
him a cold and calculated individual.
Edward Markgraf von Seki Nahe Braunschweig Brown
haired olive skinned guy who is antagonistic towards
Ludwig but likes Camus. Edward is a close ally of
Orpheus. Separated from his sister when he was a
young'un.
Naoji Ishizuki Japanese guy in a hakama
costume who feels insecure in Kuchen but was sent
there by his father due to war in Japan. Befriends
Camus and Ludwig but is wary towards the other boys.
Camus Platzgraf von Silvaner Luneburg White
haired guy who looks like a little elfin moppet.
Gets along with everyone and is the lovable imp of
the bunch. Florist by nature and loves flowers.

Observers of life in Kuchen
Sir Isaac Cavendish Brown haired, glasses-wearing guy with
stubble who's 29 years old. A journalist by trade,
Sir Isaac befriends Orpheus and Camus.

In addition to the five Strahl candidates, three
additional sub-characters appear to provide drama,
intrigue, and conversational foil. Mini-games are
triggered from time to time to strengthen your
relationship with a Strahl man.
