GBA Mother 3 JPN

 GBA Mother 3 - Ships April 20, 2006
«©NCSX» After languishing in development limbo for nearly a decade, Mother 3 is finally homebound for the Gameboy Advance. The game looks nothing like the original that was designed for the Nintendo 64 which had a decidedly polygonal bent to the visuals. The Gameboy Advance rendition features crisp hand drawn artwork that's very much in the style of the original Mother and Mother II. Yes, producer Shigesato Itoi has gone back to the roots of the series instead of attempting newfangled tech such as rendered polygons. Preorders are welcome today to ship in April 20, 2006.

Shops in Japan also started a preorder campaign overnight for the Mother 3 Deluxe Box which includes the Mother 3 game, a crimson colored Gameboy Micro, and a Franklin badge which you may affix to your boy scout uniform. Please note that the preorder allocation from Nintendo is unknown at this point but we have submitted a reservation and we should be able to supply the Deluxe Box once it ships on April 20, 2006.

NDS Densetsu no Stafy 4 JPN

NDS Densetsu no Stafy 4 - Ships April 13, 2006
«©NCSX» Things were peaceful until fires and strife destroyed the deep sea utopia. Stafy the spinning starfish returns to the gaming fold to battle for the sea so denizens of the deep can enjoy the serenity once again. In the third installment of Stafy, sister Stappie joined in the action and she returns to help her sibling conquer the levels. Sea creatures such as clams, lionfish, and hermit crabs provide information as well as new moves. Preorders are welcome starting today to ship on April 13.

NDS Conversation Phrasebook JPN

NDS Conversation Phrasebook DS - Ships March 30, 2006
«©NCSX» Ever wanted to travel to a foreign land but eventually steered away because of the language barrier? At the end of the month, Japanese citizens finally get a friendly and interactive way to "converse" in five different languages by way of five customized pieces of software which allow for point and tap conversation translation services.

For example, you're in South Korea and have just sat down inside a restaurant. You look at the menu but can't figure out what is what. You've heard of bulgogi (barbecued beef strips) but you're vegetarian. Instead of starving, flip open the NDS, boot the Korean phrasebook and direct the waiter's attention to your Nintendo DS. Click on the phrase which reads, "I am vegetarian" and wait as a voice emanates from the Nintendo DS which says "
ch’aeshik juwi imnida" in perfect Korean. The waiter nods knowingly, disappears for a few minutes, and returns with a Todok salad followed by a heaping bowl of Bibimguksu noodles. After slurping, tap the "Thank you" phrase and listen as the NDS says "kamsa hamnida" to the waiter.

The five versions of Conversation Phrasebook DS support travel to the following lands: United States, South Korea, Thailand, China, and Germany.
