PSP Max Games: Bomberman JPN

PSP Max Games: Bomberman - New Import
«©NCSX» High above the din of city streets, five Bomberman heroes leap together, coalesce, and then pose like superheroes. Yellow Bomberman sports a bulging belly so he bounces when he lands but he eventually gets up like a good sport.
In the Classic Mode of the game, big-pixel stylized renditions of four Bombermen and a Bombergal perform in an isometric maze. Shuffle along and drop bombs in your wake and wait for them to explode, igniting any and all creatures in its blast radius. Power-ups may be picked up which allow for multiple bomb dropping capability as well as bigger blasts to incinerate even more victims.
In the Arrange Mode, characters may be customized in various ways (body, head, body) to alter their appearances radically - for example, pink Bombergal may be morphed into a Playboy bunny complete with pink bunny ears and a pink tail while Green Bomber may be morphed into a street post. Naturally, the rotund Yellow bomber may be shifted into a chef. Arrange Mode features new bombs such as bouncers which keep everyone guessing as to where they'll land as well as skulls which cause players to lose control of both bomb deposits and movement. The five bombers also have special abilities - for example, Blue Bomber uses camouflage bombs, Green Bomber kicks bombs, and Red Bomber punches his way through the levels.

PSP XI Colosseum JPN

PSP Max Games: XI Colosseum - New Import
«©NCSX» Five wee devils are rolling on dice - walk and rotate the dice so that the numbers match each other in contiguous rows to sink them from the screen. For example, two die that have 2 on their faces that touch will start to descend. If you quickly roll other dice with 2s on top to touch the descending die, they'll also descend and so on and so forth. With proper planning and quick maneuvering, it's possible to create multiple chains that span the length of the screen. To force die with faces of three to descend, roll at least three threes together and the trigger is set for dice descent. To shove a die instead of rolling it over and flipping the numbers, leap onto the floor and then push the dice so that the face on top stays the same.

In the BATTLE mode of the game, 1P may face off against a COM controlled competitor. Once a game starts, the devils drift down from the top of the screen and alight on a die with one pointed leg. To move dice, waddle over them completely and they'll roll in the direction of movement. For example, if a dice has "4" on top and one red dot pointed towards the southwest, walking over the dice to the northeast will rotate the dice so that the red dot faces up. When you're stepping and rolling the dice, a representation of the dice is shown underneath your profile bar on the upper left corner of the screen. When the call of competition sounds, up to five players may connect in the WARS mode via Ad Hoc mode to complete in dice matching action as well as mini-games that are unlocked by connecting to Sony's website.

PS2 Ryuuko no Ken: Neo Geo Online Collection - Shipping May 11
«©NCSX» In 1992, Ryo Sakazaki (he looks like Ken... with a mullet) and Robert Garcia were on a mission. Ryo's little sister Yuri had been kidnapped and the two friends ventured into the seedy Southtown to bring her home. Instead of sleuthing or congenial conversation, Ryo and Robert busted heads all the way up to the top of the food chain - Mr. Big and Mr. Karate.
After their escapades, Ryo and Robert were called back to Southtown for a challenge to determine the King of Fighters in Ryuuko no Ken 2. Yuri Sakazaki joins her big brother in the competition along with her father, Takuma Sakazaki where the family was able to defeat Geese Howard, the kingpin of Southtown. In the third Ryuuko no Ken game, Robert Garcia takes center stage where he's on a mission to help a friend named

SNK celebrates the Art of Fighting series by collecting all three games on 1 PS2 disc and throws in an online fighting mode, the ability to edit character colors, and a new arrange music mode.

PSP Talkman Euro JPN

PSP Talkman Euro - Shipping May 25, 2006
«©NCSX» With the original Talkman software that was released last year, SCE knocked the Tower of Babel down a notch with a PSP translation application which handled English, Mandarin Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. To conquer the European continent, a new version of Talkman ships in late May which translates between English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Japanese.

To help travelers handle situations in various settings, it's possible to choose phrases that are suitable for 28 different settings - for example, if you're in a restaurant, a selection of applicable phrases appear such as "I'm a reluctant vegetarian" or "Please take this steak back to the incinerator from where it came from." Other settings include the hotel, at the slopes, and even when you're on the prowl inside a nightclub. While the success rate of finding love by way of PSP is still unknown, it could work if the pick up lines are selected with savvy. Lots of liquor may also help your cause.

In addition to straightforward translation, Talkman also helps language learners with pronunciation and listening exercises to hone your inner Babelfish. Two versions of Talkman Euro are on offer today:

Talkman Euro Software Only (Y4200 or US$45)
Talkman Euro + Microphone (Y5800 or US$60)

The Software Only version is for PSP owners who already have the original version of Talkman. Preorders ship on May 25, 2006.
