«©NCSX» A few years ago, NCS stocked a Spiderman Clock which featured the swinging webhead. Since then, there hasn't been any other import wall clocks that attracted our interest. Until yesterday. Banpresto opened preorders overnight for three wall clocks based on retro Nintendo themes - there's a red Famicom console clock, a blue Famicom logo clock, and a Donkey Kong title screen clock. We figure all three would mesh well in our little Nintendo shrine where munchkin visitors may alight on Famicom cushions. The diameter of the clock is 25cm or 9.84" and the hands on each timepiece is colored white for stark contrast against the background colors.

«©NCSX» Tomy and Taito have announced miniature versions of Tomytec's popular dot-pin toys which features characters from Bubble Bobble. Measuring a mere 7cm or 2.75" tall, the mini Dots toys feature a single pegboard and an assortment of colored pegs which are pushed into the board to create recognizable video game characters. Although only Bub and Bob are shown in the photo, the product solicitation mentions three varieties in the Bubble Bobble series. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid July 2006.

 TOYS Gun X Sword: Carmen 99 Figure - Shipping June 2006
«©NCSX» Max Factory has opened up preorders for a 1/8 scale or 22cm (8.66") tall Carmen 99 figure which ships in mid to late June 2006. Carmen 99 aka Carol Mendoza hails from the Gun X Sword animation where she teams up with a man named Van and a young lassie who answers to Wendy. They're all searching for something - Van seeks vengeance on the killer who clawed up his bride Helena and Wendy's looking for her older brother. Carmen's looking for... mercenary work.
 
   True to her animation depiction, Carmen's dressed in a slinky outfit which shows off her belly button in front. While her red top doesn't reveal any visible cleavage, there's ample cleavage of another sort to be viewed from the back. Pricing is set at Y4600 or US$55 from NCS. Preorders are scheduled to ship in mid-late June 2006.

 TOYS One Piece Swimming Style Figures - Shipping July 2006
«©NCSX» One Piece products have consistently sold well over the years thanks to the popularity of the animation series and its characters. To ensure that the series stays in the hearts of fans this summer, Banpresto has started preorders for One Piece Swimming Style PVC figures which feature Luffy and Nami.

   The elastic Luffy is sculpted in red trunks with drawstring while Nami rocks a dark-green bikini which provides contrast against her bright orange locks. She also appears to have stolen Luffy's straw hat to shield against the blazing sun. Each figure measures 17cm or 6.69" tall and a transparent base is included for display purposes. Preorders will ship in mid-late July 2006.

Final Fantasy XII Tomorrow
   The Asian version of FFXII is scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning and all preorders and new orders will ship upon the game's arrival. The Japanese version may also arrive late tomorrow afternoon on an expedited flight from Japan but this is not guaranteed at this point. We'll post an update tomorrow afternoon once we have further tracking updates.
Guitar Freaks V
   All preorders for Guitar Freaks V will ship tomorrow along with preorders for the Guitar and DrumMania controllers. Due to the size of the controllers, please note that NCS recommends only shipping with UPS Ground. Any air service will trigger dimensional weight shipping charges. 
Hori Real Arcade Pro Joystick
   We would have preferred the RAP v2.0 but since they're pretty much gone from specialty distribution at this point, NCS will restock the original RAP tomorrow at US$105. As usual, UPS Ground shipping is recommended to avoid onerous dimensional weight air shipping charges. The Hori Upscan Converter is also expected to be restocked tomorrow at US$69.
