   Two years after the events in "Final Fantasy VII", a disease called 'Seikon-Shoukougun', or 'Geostigma', is spreading through the planet. This disease is believed to have been caused by the body fighting off foreign material that invaded the body two years earlier, at the end of "Final Fantasy VII". Guilt-ridden and haunted by his past, ex-SOLDIER Cloud Strife has decided to live a secluded, solitary life away from his friends while maintaining "Strife's Delivery Service", whose headquarters is located in Tifa Lockheart's bar, the Seventh Heaven. Tifa's bar serves as an orphanage for children stricken with Geostigma. Here, Tifa keeps an eye on Barret's six-year-old daughter, Marlene, while Barret searches the planet for an alternative energy source to the Planet's energy, Mako.
   One day, Cloud receives a phone call from the former Shinra, Inc. president, Rufus, asking him for protection from a mysterious man named Kadaj. Kadaj, in the meantime, along with his brothers Loz and Yazoo, are searching for their "mother", and seem to believe that Cloud knows where to find her. Meanwhile, Vincent Valentine has been wandering the planet gathering information on Kadaj's scheme, and Cloud and his friends must come together again to fight these new enemies.

 TOYS Ghosts 'n Goblins Dots - Preorder / Ships in Aug 2006
«©NCSX» Tomy has opened up preorders for a miniature Dots version of Ghosts 'n Goblins which features the bearded hero of the classic game. Two sets are on offer: A version which includes enough pegs to create a representation of Sir Arthur in his underoos and another which shows off Art's suit of silver armor. The pegs and peg-boards from both sets may be combined to create a recreation of Arthur fully suited in armor. He appears to be ready to rescue his betrothed. Each peg-board measures 7cm or 2.75" tall and although the product solicitation doesn't mention how many pegs are included, we're estimating the count at 100-150 pegs per set. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late August 2006.

   Last month, Tomy started preorders for the first miniature Dots toys which feature Bub and Bob of Bubble Bobble fame.

«©NCSX» Slightly slimmer and sleeker than the swarthy girth of the original Nintendo DS, the Lite measures 133 x 73.90 x 21.50 mm (L x W x H) or 5.23 x 2.90 x 0.84" for us yanks. For comparison's sake, the first NDS rang in at 148.70 × 84.70 × 28.9mm or 5.85 x 3.33 x 1.13" stateside.

   The NDS Lite tips the scale at 218g or 0.48 lbs compared to the original NDS' 275g or 0.60 lbs. In addition to its smaller size, the NDS Lite also features four adjustable levels of screen brightness.

  As with all import NDS units, please note that we are not able to accept returns because of dead pixels which are common. Repeat: Common.
