«©NCSX» The DOTs keep coming with an announcement by Tomy for a miniature .'s version of Ninja Jajamaru-kun. Two sets are on offer: One featuring the heroic red-suited blob of a ninja named Maru and the other which shows off the eyepatch wearing Ashura. Each peg-board measures 7cm or 2.75" tall and although the product solicitation doesn't mention how many pegs are included, we're estimating the count at 100-150 pegs per set. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late August 2006.
   NCS started preorders for a pair of Ghosts 'n Goblins mini-Dots last Friday.

«©NCSX» Vance Project has started accepting preorders for a Pinky doll version of Sakura Shinguuji of the popular Sakura Wars game series. Sakura Pinky Style measures 10cm tall and ships in mid-late May 2006. 
«©NCSX» Lei-Lei of Vampire fame never received the attention and adoration that her contemporaries Lilith, Morrigan, and Felicia received. Maybe it was her blue skin and page boyish haircut. To make up for the lack of love, manufacturer EnSky has opened up preorders for a 16cm Lei-Lei statue where the blue-toned fighter lounges in awkward repose. Preorders ship in June 2006.

«©NCSX» Takara-Tomy have started preorders for another production of the MP-01 Masterpiece Convoy which was originally released in 2003. Preorders ship in June 2006.
   Leader of the pack and mightiest of the Autobots, Convoy enjoys a beautifully crafted rendition with diecast parts (heavy) and the ability to transform from Robot Mode to Vehicle Mode. An energy axe and two blaster weapons are included in the packaging along with an internal matrix chest accessory which shines like a beacon.

«©NCSX» In the Willy Wonka movie, the reclusive confectioner sent the population of the world into a frenzy when he announced special golden prize tickets that were hidden inside random Wonka Bars. So rabid was Veruca Salt that her determination and daddy's resources sent a few hundred thousand bars to an uneaten grave in search for an elusive ticket.

   Although the Willy Wonka movie remake is a year old, Medicom has started preorders for PVC replica candy bars measuring 10cm (3.93") which are based on the designs from the movie and a box to hold each bar. Four flavors are featured: Chilly Chocolate Creme, Nutty Crunch Surprise, Triple Dazzle Caramel, and Whipple-Scrumptious Fudgemallow Delight. Owing to Medicom's superior workmanship, pricing per bar + box is set at Y980 or US$13.50 from NCS. Preorders ship in mid-late June 2006.

«©NCSX» LCD calculators are cheap. When walking through Shenzhen in southern China, a visitor may pick up an LCD calculator for about a dollar. Similar calculators are given away for free by companies with their obtrusive advertising stamped somewhere on the device. While such calculators have little value, Hello Kitty kalculators have marginally higher worth. With a simple facial structure where the eyes are almost level with the nose and a shiny patina, the Hello Kitty model draws the eye to its recognizable shape and metallic style. Unopened, the calculator looks like a candy dish but the Kitty face lid flips open to reveal a simple number cruncher underneath.
