«©NCSX» Japanese manufacturer Toys Planning releases a (these are their exact words) Ren Nanase Reversible Huggable Pillow which measures approximately 107cm x 45cm or 42.12" long by 17.71" wide. Ms Nanase hails from the Yakin Byoutou (Night Hospital) OVAs where she was experimented upon by a crazed doctor to create the perfect sex slave. On one side of the pillow is a depiction of a fully garbed Ren Nanase in a pink hospital uniform with nurse cap. Her hands are strategically placed above and below her breasts to draw attention to them. On the flipside of the pillow is Ren Nanase in the same pose except her bosom has been bared for all the world to see and her skirt has been hiked up to reveal the blue skivvies below.

   Pricing for the polyester pillow is set at Y8000 or US$129 from NCS - the premium is due to the hefty shipping charges for this very large item. For those who already have a pillow that measures 42 x 18" in dimension, Toys Planning is also supplying a Ren Nanase Pillow Cover which slips over your pillow and transforms it into the "personification" of the Nightshift Nurse.

«©NCSX» Toy manufacturer Newline releases a 1/6 scale Mai Shiranui cold cast figure at Y13,800 or US$139 from NCS.

   Originally released in 2002 in kit form which required hours of tedious work and careful construction, Newline releases a completed version of the popular Mai Shiranui model. The figure is fully assembled and pre-painted for immediate display on its wooden base. Newline's Mai sculpture hails from the original Fatal Fury game and she's garbed in her traditional flimsy crimson uniform and topped with an ornamental hairpin. She carries her fan in upside down fashion in one hand while her other claw clasps a breast. Mai stands on her tiptoes while leaning forward and peering to the side with hair flipping through the air. It's classic Mai.

   Ms Shiranui measures 35.50cm (13.97") tall and the figure (sans base) weighs 1210g or 2.66 lbs.

«©NCSX» Originally released in glossy black and now rendered in lacquered white, the first PSP color variant is a beauty. Fingerprints and oils still smudge the surface of the Ceramic White PSP but they're not as noticeable as they are on the glossy black PSP. Dripping sloppy joe chunks and grape juice might show up in stark contrast however.

   Please note that this new release of the Ceramic White PSP only contains the PSP handheld and AC adapter but none of the Value Pack items.

   All remaining preorders for the Mother 3 Deluxe Box are shipping today. Contrary to last week's news from suppliers in Japan, we have available stock for new orders which will ship this afternoon.

   A supply of the Mother 3 bundles that we received last week suffered a harsh trip and arrived dented and dinged. Since the boxes of the bundle are so fragile, we arranged for individual wrapping of each Deluxe Box and the new shipment of units arrived today in mint condition. We're pleased. The new boxes are smooth, properly shaped, and devoid of dents, dings, and warped cardboard. We will fill preorders from this new inventory.

   Since we have a few Mother 3 Deluxe Boxes remaining from last week with the dents and dings, we'll offer them on sale at a discounted price in the next day or so. The damage isn't critical but since this item is a collectible bit of kit that will go into private Mother shrines, any slight damage is understandably unacceptable.
