«©NCSX» Sony's recognizable mascot cat Toro and four friends become students in a teaching game where the players takes on the role of professor. As mathematics and Japanese language queries appear on screen, each student will announce its answer in a speech bubble above its head. For example, if the math equation reads "3 X 3 = " and only Kero-kun spits out "9," dote on him for being the smartest (and only) frog in the class and select his answer to proceed further. In addition to question and answer selection sequences, the students may also engage in mini-games which feature characters from other Sony properties such as Ape Escape. An online function allows for downloads of new scholastic exercises from Sony's server and a Wi-Fi mode gives two players the ability to play teacher and student.

«©NCSX» Most Nintendo DS carrying cases hold the unit itself and maybe two game cards and an extra stylus within its innards. Two game cards might be enough to get you through the daily commute but anything longer and you might have to resort to staring out the window. To carry a lot more game cards, Japanese manufacturer Sanei presents the Fabric Case DS which holds a whopping eight cards within its cozy confines. The case opens up like a book with card carrying capacity on the inner covers as well as a center leaf. Mesh pockets keep the cards jacketed securely and a velcro-enabled flap seals the case for safe carriage.

   A plain version of the Fabric Case DS was released in Japan last week in three color variants. This week, Sanei unleashes two Mario-themed Fabric Cases which feature the familiar plumber on the front. The first variant is colored black with blue trim and depicts a leaping Mario. The second variant is colored blue with red trim and Mario throws a fireball to the right.

  Two D-shaped loops on either side of the pouch provide the links to attach the included strap to. Two pouch variants are in stock today - black with blue trim with a leaping Mario on the front and blue with red trim where Mario throws a fireball. Worn by Ashe in the FFXII video game after her marriage to Rasler, the wedding band is clearly visible on the young bride's left ring finger. Ashe suffered a loss when Rasler died during battle and the princess eventually joined up with freedom fighters to regain her kingdom from the domineering Archadians.
   Square Enix's merchandising division has started preorders for a sterling silver wedding band based on Ashe's ring with ornate engravings. Four sizes are on offer as follows below:

TOYS Monsieur Bome Kasumi JPN

«©NCSX» Kayodo has started preorders for Mon-sieur Bome Vol. 14 & 15 which respectively feature Kasumi in white and blue battle gear. Based on the product preorder sheets, Kasumi looks wooden and rigid. Her facial expression is also blank. Maybe she's trying to impersonate a plank. Compare the Bome figures to Max Factory's superior  interpretation from 2004.
   Generally, Bome's work is well regarded but the Kasumi sculpt is a disappointment. In any case, preorders are welcome to ship in late August 2006. Price: Y4500 (US$49) each.

«©NCSX» Japanese manufacturer Toys Planning has started preorders for a non-scale PVC Mutsuki figure which measures 130mm or 5.11" tall. Mutsuki kneels on the ground in a sporty outfit and pulls her shirt to the ground in a bid to accentuate her covered boobs. Winged braids keep her hair in two ponytails and a bit of string keeps her sideburns draping downwards.

   Although Mutsuki wears a shirt, it may be removed to reveal her bosoms which are strategically covered by x-shaped bandages. Pricing is set at Y5800 or US$65 and preorders ship on or around August 31, 2006.
