«©NCSX» Soma Cruz, decked out in a swishy white couture trench coat, returns to the vampire killing fold after the events of Aria of Sorrow. A secretive cabal seeks to revive the Lord of Vampires and Soma must venture into dank dungeons and dark castles to stop the rise of the mighty blood sucker. Along the way, special weapons may be hefted, powerful magical attacks meted, and the DS stylus is used to destroy crystal walls and scribble enchantments in the form of sigils. Soma's moves consist of slashing attacks, magical blows, and a double jump which may be used to scale heights or avoid flying malcontents. A dash move allows Soma to retreat from danger or scoot underneath obstacles.

To capitalize on its past success, Hori releases a version of the Rakuna or Comfortable Touch Pen for the Nintendo DS Lite. To justify the label of "comfortable," the stylus features a tapered design and a ribbed barrel that's conducive to kung-fu grips. The balanced weight of the pen also allows for easy handling when scribbling and tapping on the NDS touch screen. A mounting mechanism is included in the blister pack which plugs into the stylus receptacle of the NDS Lite and provides an attached dock for the Rakuna Touch Pen to slip into.

«©NCSX» Most ninja are sleek, stealthy, and garbed in inconspicuous clothing. Meet the exception to the rule - Goemon, the cherubic ninja who makes a spectacle of himself just by waddling around the streets of Edo.
   In the NDS version of Goemon, the chubby one explores and performs actions in an isometric action-adventure. The top DS screen displays overhead world maps and character interactions as Goemon meets various citizens and characters. On the bottom screen, the main action takes place as our hero rushes along in jovial fashion. When traveling through a village, the top screen keeps track of Goemon's location and he may smite foes and normal folk alike with his pipe.

«©NCSX» Kazuya Shiranami is nervous and talking to himself as he is ferried on a space cruiser to his new position. Tact Mayers has assigned him to crew of the Rukusior battleship to take up the leadership position of the Rune Angel Troupe. As he sits in the cruiser, a familiar face shows up to ease his tension - Forte Stollen. Upon his arrival on the Rukusior, Apricot Sakuraba greets Kazuya and the two head off on a tour of the battleship that's interspersed with introductions from the rest of the cast. 
   Galaxy Angel 2 is broken up into ACTs where Kazuya interacts with his new charges and the commander of the Rukusior, Takuto (Tact Mayers). The early ACTs consist entirely of interaction sequences where the lay of the game is explained, the interior of the Rukusior is shown, and the background story is divulged. In the fourth ACT, Kazuya gets a taste of space battle where he chooses a partner from Kahlua, Nano-Nano, or Apricot and locks battle frames together to destroy a dummy drone. From that point, the ACTs consist of equal parts character interaction and battle sequences where the Rune Angels are sent on missions across the galaxy. The original Galaxy Angels (Milfeulle, Ranpha, Mint, Vanilla, Rester, etc) also appear in the game in supporting roles. «NCS Game Notes»

As an up 'n coming  photog, players watch as the girls wiggle, roam, and wander around the screen while taking photographs that are suitable for framing. Snapshots worthy of Scavullo open up new scenes with the models where they pose in different scenery and settings. When a photo shoot starts, a faint "camera" overlay is pasted on the screen over the model's actions and pink hearts and camera indicators start moving from the outer edge of the left and right screen towards the center. When the hearts pass the rectangular indicators to the left and right of the spotting reticule, get ready to take a snapshot. When two cameras meet, shoot the shot and the camera's virtual shutter clicks to take in the model's prancing.

   A natural location that's found in all three Finder Love games is the beach where the gals pose in skimpy bikinis. In addition to virtual photography sessions, interactive episodes may be enjoyed where the girls talk to the screen and engage in light hearted situations which require minimal input from the gamer/viewer/voyeur.

   In the Aki Hoshino of Finder Love, the model prepares a snack, frolics in a number of bikinis, fools around in a pair of sunglasses, relaxes at a resort, and stars in many more scenarios. Aki's mini-games include a "push-the-button-which-matches-the-cue" interaction where Aki clowns around in the background, rocks-scissors-paper, and a simple boxing game where the L and R triggers control the bobbing and weaving to avoid Aki's attack. If she connects thrice, your HP drops and the mini-game eventually ends.

   In the Risa Kudo version of Finder Love, the model poses in a wedding dress, runs to shore from the sea, bends over and crouches like a hermit crab, and acts out in many other scenarios. The mini-games featured in Risa's version of Finder include a balancing act game where treasure chests are carried from a starting point to a goal and charades where she acts out something and the player has to figure out what she's doing by selecting from three possible choices.

«©NCSX» Neverland plays host once again to a new tactical adventure game where a mercenary group profits from the wars being waged by 10 principalities. Players step into the role of a feathery-haired merc named Begina who hails from simple country folk. Take on various missions for a certain kingdom and Begina's actions will affect the tide of battle if he's successful in his quest. As Begina's experience and reputation grows, higher level assignments are opened up which have the potential of changing the balance of power in Neverland. Compatriots include a cleric named Unis, a childhood friend named Diaz, a half-breed demon named Dragan, a former noble named Cassius, and the leader of the pack - Judo. A large cast of supporting characters provide foil, antagonism, and interactive elements during the course of the game. Battles are fought in real time on grid-based maps where attacks and magic are depicted in fluid motion. Although the visuals don't look so much improved over the PS2 versions of Spectral Force, the spot animations are exquisitely produced.
    Every preorder for Spectral Force 3 will include a bonus Hiro figure where the woman warrior hefts a sickle-like weapon and wears a clawed gauntlet. While supplies last, we will also include the figure with new orders.

The video signal selection is performed by pushing labeled buttons on the front the unit to switch between the connected devices. When a button is pushed in, a satisfying ka-chunk sound will confirm that the button has been depressed properly. Four rubber feet on the bottom of the unit keeps the AV Selector from slipping  on a shelf or table.
