«©NCSX» Capcom is accepting preorders for an E-Capcom exclusive book which collects the illustrations of Rockman Zero from his debut in the Rockman X game circa 1993 to the recent Rockman ZX. To provide color on the Rockman series, the book also features an interview with creator Keiji Inafune on his inspiration and goals in creating the popular series. 

   The book is A4 size (8.27×11.69") and spans 176 glossy pages. Preorders are expected to ship on or around August 9, 2006. Due to the special arrangements required to import this book, NCS setting the price at US$45.

«©NCSX» Eight years ago, the Dreamcast launched in Japan and the console generated high levels of excitement and gaming innovation. Highly vaunted projects such as Shenmue and Dead or Alive 2 held the fan base in thrall. Throw in a library of perfect Naomi ports and the machine was destined to become lord of the kingdom. Never happened. Three years into its run, Sega pulled the plug on the DC and the console was relegated to orphan status - roadkill for the Playstation 2 juggernaut.
   To celebrate the demise of the Dreamcast, Sega Direct is accepting preorders for a remake of the DC wristwatch that was originally sold on D-Direct many moons ago. A silver DC console houses the timepiece and the lid flips open by pressing the "open" button on the right side of the console.

«©NCSX» Japanese manufacturer Medicom has started preorders for a limited edition Star Wars 501st Legion Clone Trooper that's constructed of soft vinyl. Measuring 21cm or 8.26" tall and malleable, the trooper wears white regulation armor with blue trim and grips a standard DC-15 blaster rifle in both hands.
   The production quantity of the Clone Trooper is limited to 1000 units and the pricing is "open" which means that vendors are free to set the price as they see fit. We're pricing the troopers at Y10800 or US$105.

   In the Star Wars mythos, the 501st Legion was an elite force of clones who served under Commander Appo and was nicknamed "Vader's Fist" for their battlefield efficacy and distinguished service. The 501st Legion served an integral part in the Empire's major campaigns such as the Second Battle of Naboo and quashed the Rebellion at Kamino. The 501st also won a key victory against the Rebels at Hoth. The legion was disbanded after the Battle of Endor and its surviving members were scattered throughout the ranks of the Empire.

   Preorders are welcome today to ship in mid-late August 2006. Due to the dimensional size of this item, NCS recommends only shipping with UPS Ground if you reside within the contiguous United States.

   The Doraemon Sleep Plush measures 20cm or 7.87" tall and four pajama variants are available for preorder. Two variants feature a wide-awake cat while the other two are enjoying a deep slumber. Pricing is set at US$16 per plush and preorders are scheduled to ship in mid-late November 2006.

«©NCSX» Japanese manufacturer X-Plus has started preorders for a Robby the Robot & Transporter Set which is scheduled to ship in mid August 2006. Robby first appeared in the 1956 Forbidden Planet movie and went on to star in assorted sci-fi movies and three episodes of the Twilight Zone television show.
   The Robby toy measures 18cm tall and fits inside the Altair-4 Transporter which measures 28cm long. A retro style cardboard container serves to evoke memories of the roaring 50s when black and white photography was the rage. The set is limited to 1000 pieces at a price of ¥15800 or US$155 from NCS.

«©NCSX» The fourth reproduction of Phoenix Wright was supposed to have shipped yesterday for delivery today. Didn't happen. Capcom has pushed the re-release date for the game to August 7 or 8, 2006. Apologies for the delay but all backorders will ship once we receive the game.

Question: Couldn't Capcom have updated distributors yesterday?
Answer: Yes, they could have. But they didn't. As of last night, we still assumed the game was slated to arrive today.
