NDS Chain Puzzle Trion Cube JPN

NDS Chain Puzzle Trion Cube - New Import, Ships Today
NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX» Inspired by Tetris but deviating from that game's method of attack, Chain Puzzle Trion Cube features falling blocks that must be arranged in groups of 3 x 3 blocks. Nothing else will do. Five types of blocks serve as the basic construction material to create the 3 x 3 cubes. As the block pieces fall, rotate them left or right to fit them with the blocks already on ground level. In the early levels, a cursor will appear on the bottom blocks if a match can be made with a piece that's falling. As 3 x 3 groupings are assembled below, they may be chained with falling blocks consecutively as long as a new 3 x 3 construction is created. «NCS Game Notes»

NDS Insect Story - New Import, Ships Today
NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX» Bugs creep and crawl through the expanse of the outdoors like they owned it. And they do. In Taito's Insect Story, players take on the role of a young boy who explores his town and captures insects which are everywhere. After collecting a number of creepies, it's possible to pit them against opposing bugs in a card fighting game. After fighting insects, defeated bugs are added to the player's database where they may be viewed later in a gallery. A wireless function in the game is used for trading bug data with friends and a circle of insect collectors may share each other's data to build up respective databases.

NDS Starfox Command JPN

NDS Starfox Command - New Import, Ships Today
NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX» Fox McCloud, Slippy Toad, Peppy, Krystal and the rest of the star gang reunite to defend the Lylat System once again from an alien threat known as the Anglor. In the early missions, Fox and Slippy make up a crew of two but are joined by the other members of Starfox later in the game. Fox now pilots the Arwing II while Slippy jockeys around in the Bullfrog. Ship control is handled entirely through the stylus by swishing up, left, down, or right on the touch screen while the d-pad or the L-trigger fires lasers. To execute special commands, stylus scratching is required where a quick circular scribble to the left sends the Arwing II into a barrel roll... «more»

PSP Carnage Heart Portable JPN

PSP Carnage Heart Portable - New Import, Ships Today
NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX» Tinker with metal parts and build a custom robot known as an Overkill Engine (OKE) that's initially a shell sans the soul. Models such as the Manticore, JuJuman, Vyper, and Kouger each have their respective strength and advantages in battle. Without the proper programming however, an OKE is just a hunk of  metal with articulated limbs and grafted weaponry. It can't do anything until it has the artificial intelligence to guide it along. In order to imbue the robot with subroutines and operating instructions, the creator has to tinker with the programming so that the robot interacts with the world in a predetermined manner. Once the hardware and software are ready, the OKEs are sent to the production line for manufacturing to proceed. When a batch of OKEs goes live, they may be sent into battle against opposing forces using only their AI for guidance.
The simplest command that one may program is a move forward. As in, move forward and then turn to the right when an obstacle is encountered. Once that command is integrated with the robot, another command may be programmed so that the robot shoots when an enemy is scanned within 30 meters. More sophisticated commands may be chained together so that the robot processes them in fluid motion and reacts to battlefield conditions with seamless execution. Updated features in the Playstation Portable version of Carnage Heart include new OKE models for a total of 32 varieties and a total of 48 battle chip commands to use with the robots.

PSP E3 JPN

PSP Every Extend Extra - New Import, Ships Today
NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX» From humble beginnings in the realm of freeware downloads, Every Extend garnered buzz before it attracted the interest of Q Entertainment. Only the developer's third game after Lumines which has now sold over 700,000 copies worldwide and Meteos which won the CESA Game Award for 2004-2005, Every Extend Extra sends gamers on bombing missions.
As the game starts, a pulsating gold star flies into the stage followed by combustible star-shapes or polyhedrons of different colors and varying velocities that enter from the sides of the screen. The gold star is the player's bomber and the polyhedrons are the targets. Roam around by using the d-pad or analog nub and press any of the face buttons to destroy the star. The goal is to ignite an explosion so that its blast radius touches the polyhedrons which in turn explode to ignite additional explosions with contiguous objects. By chaining together explosions in this manner, outward radiating blasts may be created which destroy nearly everything on screen.
The player starts the game with 12 stars and each detonation destroys a star. However, creating adequate chain explosions replenish life stock while screen-clearing chains add life stock to the player's reserve in addition to replenishing the stock that was used to start the explosion. The Arcade Mode of E3 is made up of levels called "Drives" which feature 2 parts. The first part concerns the player with star or polyhedron destruction and the second part throws a rainbow-colored boss into the fray. «NCS G-Notes»

PS2 Pachislot Hokuto no Ken JPN

PS2 Pachislot Hokuto no Ken SE + Bonus - New Import, S.T.
NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX» Kasumi Kenshiro is a post-apocalyptic bad ass who struts around in leather duds with chest bared and pectorals rippling. Sharing the doomed world with him are gangs of roaming biker gangs and bandits who prey upon an unprotected populace. To get a little law and order back into the mix, Kenshiro battles thugs with his martial arts skills.
Play pachi-slots on three 3D rendered Hokuto no Ken pachinko machines which are based on Sammy's coin-op designs. The machines are decorated with Hokuto no Ken artwork and marquees with three machine variants as follows: Kenshiro, Rei, and Rin & Bat (aka Lynn and Bat). Other than the design scheme, the machines are identical to each other in terms of play mechanics, the video animation that plays on the monitor above the slots, and the tricks that may be used to beat each one.
For the uninitiated, pachi-slot is slots. Deposit some coin, pull on the plunger, and watch as three spinners decorated with bells, coins, sevens, and other objects rotate rapidly. Stop each spinner by pushing on its corresponding button and attempt to match up symbols for winnings and in the case of Pachislot Hokuto no Ken, some Hokuto Shinken fighting action.

PS2 Wizardry Gaiden JPN

PS2 Wizardry Gaiden - New Import, Ships Today
NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX» Anyone hankering for an RPG that looks and plays like something transplanted from 1988 is in luck. Wizardry Gaiden: Prisoners of the Battles is a visually stark adventure game that moves in stutter step and relies on text-based menus to execute attacks, manage inventory, and ration gold amongst party members. The PS2 d-pad is used to move the party across dungeons and when monsters attack, there's no forewarning or a glimmer of them in the distance. They just appear automatically and a battle ensues where the player directs a party of six adventurers to attack by pressing the "O-Button." Verily, an entire battle may be fought by tapping that single button until all monsters are dead. NCS wouldn't recommend such a foolhardy fighting style however since tougher monsters will inflict mass damage and party members will require healing lest they all shuffle off to an early grave.
Similar to other Wizardry games, the adventure starts in a tavern where party members are recruited or created. Once outfitted with arms and items, the party descends into the closest dungeon to gather gold, slay monsters, and gain experience to more efficiently perform the former two tasks.

X360 Bomberman: Act Zero JPN

X360 Bomberman: Act Zero - New Import, Ships Today
NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX» The squat and plain-faced Bomberman of yore wasn't gangster enough for the Xbox 360. He was too clean-shaven and innocent looking despite his chosen profession. Tasked with hardening Bomberman for the more mature audience of the Xbox 360, Hudson went with western comic book superhero sensibilities over Hello Kitty simplicity. Fast tracked to gritty evolution, Bomberman Act Zero features sleek warriors in glistening armor who battle in fast paced bouts of maze bombing action. Game modes include a World Battle Mode where up to 8 players may bomb each other via Xbox Live and a Single Battle Mode where a lone player takes on 99 levels of adversity. As the player successfully navigates through the levels, the enemy AI becomes cagier and more contentious.
New to the Xbox 360 version of Bomberman is a First Person Bomber perspective which is a bit of a misnomer.  The action isn't viewed from the perspective of Bomberman inside the maze but rather from a closer overhead view where the surrounding maze is all that one can see. In the original Bomberman games, the entire overhead maze was viewable.
