«©NCSX» If your definition of a six-pack is limited to beverage containment vessels found in the aisles of the local bodega, the Kinnikuman inspired Muscle Suits might expand your command of colloquialisms. Etched with a boxy six-pack in the abdomen area and a similarly squarish two-pack in the man-boob (as in moobs) area, the Eikoh manufactured muscle suits transform any 98-lb weakling into a he-man woman hater worthy of wrestling warfare. Bulging guns on both arms (those damn colloquialisms again) ensure that convicts and thugs alike will show much respect and perhaps a little love.

   Although Halloween is still a couple of months away, one can never be too early when planning this year's costume. A sheet of black & white stickers is included in each package to add stars and other tattoo symbols to the muscle suit. Preorders will ship today but please note that due to shipping costs that were higher than the cost of the suits, NCS is raising the price for this item to US$39. «©NCSX»  In 1991, a rocket-powered superhero, Jennifer Connelly, and Nazi villains couldn't convince prospective movie audiences to pay the cost of admission. Positioned as a "summer blockbuster," the Rocketeer raked in a mere $46,704,056 in total receipts. That last $56 was hard fought.
   Fast forward to 2003 and Medicom commemorated the 12-year anniversary of the Rocketeer with a Real Action Heroes run that was limited to 2000 pieces. Collectors applauded, paid the dear cost of collecting, and the figure eventually sold out, never to be seen again. Or so we thought.
   As the summer of 2006 rolls around, Medicom releases a second production of the RAH Rocketeer. Although Medicom lists this figure as 12" tall, the Rocket Man is slightly shorter at a little over 11" tall from brown boots to the top of his finned helmet. The Rocketeer sports a studded brown leather jacket with a flap which flips open to reveal a zipper. To complete the ensemble, a silver colored rocket pack is strapped to his back with copper-colored thrusters at the bottom. The rocket pack is clamped tight to the Rocketeer by way of two buckles and straps. Rocketeer also wears a white shirt and his trousers are held up by a black belt. In case you're wondering, the brown jacket is adorned with epaulets and the helmet includes a chin strap, just like the original movie costume as worn by actor Billy Campbell. As with all RAH figures, the Rocketeer may be posed in all manner of action stances and positions including standing straight like a wooden board, arms out as if exercising, or with both dukes up to take on oncoming brawlers. «More Product Photos»

«©NCSX»  Preorders are open for a 1/5 scale Kasumi -white version- statue which ships in mid-late November 2006. Kasumi measures 15cm tall or 5.90" from her seated position to the top of her hair.

   In Japanese, Kasumi translates to "mist" which may refer to the woman warrior's quick reflexes and difficulty in connecting when she's on the move. Kasumi sits on the back of her dress and shows thigh while attending to her footwear. Perhaps she's tightening the straps to ensure that the top flap doesn't fly off when he's kicking it up. An ornate lanyard trails from the hilt of the sword that's strapped to her back and white leggings provide some measure of modesty. Pricing is set at ¥14,800 or US$155 from NCS and reservations are welcome today. Due to the dimensional weight size of this item, NCS recommends shipping only with UPS Ground within the States.

PSP Tekken Dark Resurrection [USA] Bug
   We've received multiple reports from customers concerning a loading bug in the USA version of Tekken DR where the game freezes at the character select screen. The problem appears to be limited to certain batches of the game and we'll update our customers on returning their copies once we receive information from Namco's distributor.
Toy Updates
   Another batch of toys arrived in the late morning and we'll update the product listings tomorrow morning after we break down and check out the cartons that came in. We see a huge box of Caltoy Turtles that would hold a Kia Sephia and some other cartons of what might be the Monsieur Bome Igunisu figure and new Dots toys based on the markings on the boxes. 
Phoenix Wright [USA]
   The reproduction of Phoenix Wright for the Nintendo DS appears to be on schedule for next week. A distributor in the USA gave indication last week that the game might possibly arrive this week but based on information this morning, the rescheduled date of August 8-9 is more likely.
