PS2 The Dog of War JPN

PS2 The Fuhyou: Senjou no Inu Tachi - New Import, Ships Hoy
NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX» As the last surviving member of a battalion, the protagonist of "The Fuhyou" wouldn't be faulted if he went AWOL. As in vamoose and gangway to calmer shores. But he's not that kind of guy. Resolute and determined to finish the job that his battle group set out to accomplish, he trudges on into enemy territory like a super trooper. Think of him as a poor man's Solid Snake... without the style nor the substance. After completing a few missions, the soldier reunites with his command temporarily before venturing forth on more theaters of conflict that take place in the jungle and a somber east European city. All by his lonesome as a one man army.

At the outset of the game, the protagonist has lost his entire squad but a catastrophe like that isn't enough to deter him. With meager rations, a knife, and a firearm, he is charged with infiltrating enemy encampments and killing everyone inside by sniper fire or conventional buckshot. When moping around in the jungle, the flora provide some measure of cover but it's pretty much no-holds barred where soldier boy runs, guns, and lobs grenades at his adversaries while they do their best to return fire. «NCS Game Notes»

PS2 Growlanser V Generations JPN

PS2 Growlanser V Generations - New Import, Ships Today
NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX» The latest Growlanser breaks from previous games in the series and presents the world in full blown 3D instead of the 2D representations found in every game since the first Grownlanser. Series artist Satoshi Urushihara reprises his role as illustrator and provides both character portraits and animation cinemas for the new adventure. Although the game is played in a 3D environment, ample amounts of Urushihara artwork are on display as the characters interact and explore the world.

As the story opens up, three great powers are at a ceasefire but hostilities are still simmering underneath the surface. In addition to the potential for all-out war to resume, creatures from the sea have been attacking the people. To ensure that the truce is maintained between principalities, a peacekeeping force is established to corral any conflicts. Protagonist Zeonsilt (aka Zeon Schildt) is a member of the force and ventures forth to investigate the attacks by the sea creatures as well as help to maintain order in the world. Along the way, Zeon teams up with new allies as well as members of the peace keepers. «NCS Game Notes»

PSP Goku Makaimura JPN

Bonus D-Pad included

PSP Goku Makaimura + Bonus Dpad - New Import, Ships Today
NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX» Twenty one years ago, Capcom rehashed the age old yarn about a damsel in distress. Instead of sending a plumber to do a man's job however, a more traditional hero archetype was summoned to perform the rescue. Jumping and throwing weapons like a banshee, a knight in shining armor went on a mission to save his betrothed from a demonic kidnaper.
The PSP version of Goku Makaimura recreates the original adventure but with rich and vibrant visuals along with a revamped game engine that runs in 2D but also features 3D sequences as well. In the first level of the game, the action is reminiscent of the classic Makaimura where the knight battles a crowd of enemies that approach on the ground and from the air. A spitting Venus flytrap sends deadly kisses through the air and a gruesome mid-level boss shoots squishy eye creatures. Arthur only has a single jump at the outset of the game but defeating the first boss grants him a pair of winged shoes which add the double jump to his repertoire. Arthur lofts even higher when he picks up a special power-up later in the game...
Three game modes are playable: Beginner, Original, and Arcade. In Beginner and Original modes, armor stock may be stored where Arthur can take multiple blows before losing his protective suit. He starts off with two armor stocks and can take two hits before he's in his underoos. Additional armors can be picked up to upgrade his power level as well as his level of protection. In the Arcade Mode, one hit demolishes his suit of armor regardless of its power level. «NCS Game Notes & Spoilers»

X360 Senko no Ronde Rev. X JPN

X360 Senko no Ronde Rev. X - New Import, Ships Today
NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Sega's Naomi hardware has been home to a few worthy shooters in the past few years - most notably Zero Gunner 2 and Ikaruga. G. Rev's Senko no Ronde isn't in the league of those two powerhouses but it provides a somewhat challenging diversion while we wait for the next big thing. Failing any big things on the horizon, we'd be content with a home port of Cave's Pink Sweets.
The Xbox 360 conversion of Senko no Ronde features improved graphics over the Naomi original and booming sound. The game play is the same however where two mech-ships face off against each other in a spinning ballet of firepower and special attacks that light up the screen. Eight mech handlers and their rocket-powered mecha suits are featured including a boy named Mika, a gal named Changpo, and a chipper android known as Ernula. In addition to playing the game in your living room by your lonesome, the Xbox 360 version allows journeymen to go online and tackle opponents through the Xbox Live service. A Gallery Mode features character artwork and models of the mechs that may be unlocked.

X360 Zegapain XOR JPN

X360 Zegapain XOR - New Import, Ships Today
NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX» Based in the same world as the anime series, Zegapain Xor pits a purple-maned hero named Victor Toga who has been resurrected to pilot a mech known as a Zegapain. Victor's gifts are so formidable that the Celebram organization brought him back to defend the world against enemies called Gards-orm. With fast slashing skills and deft mech-handling abilities, Victor takes on the role of archetypal man-god who wields the power and skill to save the whole of humanity. Supporting cast members and co-pilots include Mio Readiness, Meivelle Transferre, Sarah, Isola, Muelle, and many more.
Sunrise Animation produced the Zegapain animation and parallels to their other series such as Gundam, King of Braves GaoGaiGar, and Blue Comet SPT Layzner are in evidence. Similarities include the big battling mechs, a storyline which chronicles the oppression of a stronger force upon a smaller one, and the human drama that swirls around the rigors of war. In the Xbox game, players guide a green-armored mech that carries a shield, a sword, and a firearm. Battles take place on different locales in the planet as well as in outer space against squads of enemy mech troopers.
