PSP Hokuto no Ken SE JPN

PSP Jissen Pachi-Slot Hisshouhou! Hokuto no Ken SE - New
NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX» Kasumi Kenshiro is a post-apocalyptic bad ass who struts around in leather duds with chest bared and pectorals rippling. Sharing the doomed world with him are gangs of roaming biker gangs and bandits who prey upon an unprotected populace. To get a little law and order back into the mix, Kenshiro battles thugs with his martial arts skills.

Play pachi-slots on three 3D rendered Hokuto no Ken pachinko machines which are based on Sammy's coin-op designs. The machines are decorated with Hokuto no Ken artwork and marquees with three machine variants as follows: Kenshiro, Rei, and Rin & Bat (aka Lynn and Bat). Other than the design scheme, the machines are identical to each other in terms of play mechanics, the video animation that plays on the monitor above the slots, and the tricks that may be used to beat each one.

For the uninitiated, pachi-slot is slots. Like the one-armed bandits that people play in Las Vegas and Atlantic City. Deposit some coin, pull on the plunger, and watch as three spinners decorated with bells, coins, sevens, and other objects rotate rapidly. Stop each spinner by pushing on its corresponding button and attempt to match up symbols for winnings and in the case of Pachislot Hokuto no Ken, some Hokuto Shinken fighting action which plays on the video screen above the spinners.

NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX»
Set in the Sengoku Jidai or Warring States period of Japan's history, Twelve Sengoku Fuushinden is a fictional account of an Owari Tokugawa warlord named Masanaga who uses arcane forces in a bid to conquer Japan under one gauntlet. Under his command, a number of highly competent generals lead his armies against the various daimyo in a fractious Japan. At the outset of the game, the player may choose to play as a male warrior named Hibiki or a swordswoman named Minori.

In the first chapter, the protagonist meets up with a princess named Tian who has escaped from the clutches of Masanaga. She was meant to be a sacrifice but her plight rallies the protagonist to appropriate the unification ambitions of Masanaga with an army of his/her own. The game features a large amount of voice snippets when the characters interact with each other during the story development portions. Characters are shown side by side with conversation text underneath which is accompanied by speech. Background noises are also present to add extra aural atmosphere. For example, while in the town market, the faint chatter and murmur of a crowd behind the characters may be heard.

Encounters are depicted on isometric battlefields where two forces are arrayed against each other on opposing sides. Each unit is  «more»
