«©NCSX» Warring States are raging once again as powerful heroes and their contingents mass for all out war. Upon starting a mission, the area map and objectives are laid out along with opposing heroes that are in play. Moves may be checked out and the game advises on the use of combos and special attacks.
   Old hands to the Musou games will find the format familiar: rush into battle with fellow soldiers and chop away at the opposition who stand around with their weapons drawn. Strangely, many of them don't press the attack and appear to be gawking at your slashing skills as you mow them down in quick succession. Despite the enemy onlooker mentality however, the game is more difficult than previous games. For one, enemy heroes who stand taller than the lowly infantry actively engage and attack with strong thrusts and slices. Catch a few blows from them and half of your health disappears. Cinemas also pepper each level which show bridges being blown up as well as freshly unleashed enemy soldiers joining the battle. The X360 version of SM2 includes an online mode and players in Japan may battle against warriors in North America and Europe.

«©NCSX» Disney and Tomy expand their Dot-Pin offerings with a new set based on the characters of Tim Burton's Nightmare Before Christmas. Scheduled for release in mid-late November 2006, the NBC Dots kit includes four panels and a total of 750 pegs split in white, black, pink, purple, and a new color called "glow." As in, these pegs glow in the dark for nifty luminous effects on spooky nights.
   By pushing colored pegs into panels, dot artists may create representations of Jack Skellington, Oogie Boogie, and other oddly apportioned denizens of Halloween Town. Preorders are welcome today at US$19 per kit. Please note that the pricing for Disney branded Dots kits are higher than normal due to the magic known as Disney licensing costs.

The good doctor also didn't count on Stitch becoming little more than a pet dog... with an occasional destructive bent.
   Disney and Tomy team up to offer a Dot-Pin kit based on the toothy Stitch where a blue dot palette is used to create renditions of the galactic destroyer. Similar to other deluxe Dots kits, the Stitch package includes 750 pegs and four panels to plug them into. To ensure that buyers are able to create Stitch, instructions are included along with templates. Preorders are welcome today at US$19 to ship in mid-late November 2006.
