 TOYS Phantasy Star Universe Figure Collection - Preorder
«©NCSX» Sega has started preorders for Phantasy Star Universe figures which are scheduled to ship on September 30 2006. Five characters (Ethan, Karen, Tyler, etc) measuring roughly 4.50" tall are featured in the collection along with a color variant for each figure. Sega's preorder solicitation states that each factory sealed case of 10 figures will include a full set of 5 normal color figures and a full set of 5 variant color figures. Due to this arrangement, NCS will only sell the toys in complete factory cases of 10 at US$70.

«©NCSX» Hailing from the popular "Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" animated series, Asahina Mikuru is a agent from the future who has been sent back to protect a latent esper named Itsuki Koizumi and to find out the reason for a glitch in the space-time continuum. In the first episode, Mikuru and her enemy Yuki Nagata both transfer into Itsuki's school and join the student body. Hilarity, ridiculous encounters, and comical voice-overs ensue.
   Japanese manufacturer Aterlier-Sai has announced standard red and variant black Asahina Mikuru figures which ship in November. A white variant was also announced but sadly, it's only available through mail order in Japan. Pricing is set at ¥7800 or US$80 for either variant from NCS.

   The remainder of this week's new Japanese imports are scheduled to arrive tomorrow morning. A final shipment of PS2 Melty Blood Act Cadenza will also arrive tomorrow. After that supply is gone, that's all.
Final Fantasy III Crystal Edition
   Speculators continue to play mind games with the artificially inflated value of the FFIII CE. We're resolute however and we'll refrain from purchasing bulk quantities of the Crystal Edition until the price meets our target level. Our recommendation to everyone is to continue waiting since we're receiving multiple offers now from various suppliers in Japan albeit at the higher price points. If they can't sell their stock, they'll dump prices soon.
