Game Synopsis
«©NCSX»
After being shipwrecked and stranded on an island,
the hero of the latest Bokujou Monogatari teams up
with a small family of survivors to make a new home.
By developing the land and creating a vibrant island
economy supported by agriculture, trade, and
livestock, the newfound home away from home might become a
teeming commercial jewel. At the outset of the game,
players may select a male character named Mark or a
female character named Chelsea.
With the promise of a better life, immigrants will visit your
pristine shores and possibly settle down. The game
mandates
a population limit of 100 people but inhabitants
aren't set in stone and may
leave and arrive at any time which allows for a
constant state of flux.

NCS Game Notes
»
Movement is controlled entirely through the stylus
by tapping on the touch screen. To move the
protagonist, tap on a location on the touch screen
and he or she will walk on over obediently. To run,
tap further away and watch the hero gallop.
» The first task once you've been led to your new
parcel of land is to clear the field of debris and
detritus. Some things never change. Tap around the
field and then tap on each item to heft it into your
bag which can hold an infinite amount of objects.
It's tedious work but someone's got to do it.
» Rice may be planted in paddies which grows up into
thick bushy plants.
» As the population of the island grows, the amount
of suitable marriage partners rises. There's a
flipside to the escalation of love interests however
because the number of rivals for suitable marriage
partners also rise.
» Once you get married in the game, children
inevitably follow. Be a good parent and raise your
offspring from helpless babies to rambunctious
tykes.
»
The player's home at the outset of the game is a
shack-like domicile adorned with a red roof that's
perfectly fine for a bachelor. However, as your
family grows, you'll need more space. Thanks to the
help of a carpenter, the shack may be expanded with
additional rooms and grow into a Mcmansion if so
desired.
»
Treating your livestock well results in a higher
productive yield. Chickens lay more eggs, cows
produce more milk, and sheep grow thicker tufts of
wool.
» Once you obtain a fishing rod, you can stand
alongside different bodies of water and try to pull
assorted varieties of fish from the depths of ponds,
rivers, and other pools.
