NCS Product Synopsis «©NCS» The rascals from Animal Crossing have endured a spate of merchandising deals over the past year and Banpresto pushes their way into the AXing space one more time. The sleepy-eyed Tanukichi aka Tom Nook leads a quintet of plush figures which measure 16cm or 6.29" tall and are made of soft and lightweight material. Cradle the whole gang of them in your arms and you still wouldn't be exerting yourself.    In the photo above,  the Animal Crossing characters are (from the far right and moving left): Japanese territory name followed by Western territory name (A) Tanukichi aka Tom Nook (B) Daruman aka Hopper (C) Mr. Resetti aka Mr. Sonny Resetti (D) Bianca aka Whitney (E) Bouquet aka Rosie    Mr. Resetti hefts a felt pickaxe and shows more teeth than Domokun. Cross him at your peril. Preorders are shipping today and new orders are welcome at US$9.50 per plush.     NCS Product Notes Some color on the five plushes: Tanukichi    Our favorite raccoon wears a blue apron with trademark acorn design on front which wraps around his waist and terminates somewhere inside his plush backside. A stubby tail protrudes from Tanukichi's posterior and pinkish pads may be seen on his palms. Under his right arm is a Louis Vuitton bag. Sort of.    Most of Tanukichi is made of plush material but the tops of his ears and the tip of his nose is made of plastic for a contrast in feel when running your hands all over the shopkeeper. Daruman    Stout and seemingly oblivious to the fact that his flimsy "Z" shirt barely covers his bulging belly. Mr. Resetti    The best plush of the lot. Shaped like a corpulent bullet and angrier than any Tarantino-scripted mongrel, Resetti has earned a place in NCS' permanent plush collection which sits under glass. We haven't investigated pumping the air out of the display cases yet but give us a few years and we'll look into it. Resetti sports six thick whiskers which sprout from his snout and his wide-eyed demeanor puts Domokun to shame. A somewhat shiny headlamp made of felt is glued to the top of Resetti's forehead - some may mistake the concentric circles for a target.  Bianca    Pretty blue eyes, green highlights, and a short purple dress decorated with daisies. Any self respecting manimal would be all over that. Bianca's nose is made of a shiny plastic pebble but her feet look a lot like hooves. Green hooves. Bouquet   We also know Bouquet as "Sweet Purple" since "Hot Legs" didn't really stick.
