Game Synopsis
«©NCS»
Trek to the Onpuu Islands and
use the
stylus to tap or capture creatures and send them off the
screen. Once that's done, hit the matching arrow cues
as they move from right to left on the
conveyer track located at the top of the screen. The
creatures appear in the center area of the touch
screen and you'll have to tap or draw circles around each
one. If multiple creatures of
the same color appear, it's possible to circle them all to send them
away. Each tapped creature is accompanied by an
arrow cue. When you hit the arrow cues, you'll be rewarded with a
"Good," "Great," or "Master" rating on the upper
left corner of the screen. While the puzzle action is happening, your onscreen
character and opponent both slowly dance and steps around in the
background.

NCS Game Notes
» Players may choose a male or female
character at the outset of the game - a blue
haired lad or a pink haired gal.
» A training mode administered by a
green-haired girl with glasses precedes the game
which will demonstrate the cues and cue hits.
After the trainer, you have a map on the touch
screen which shows the Onpu Islands and a blue
building is highlighted in the lower left corner.
» Players move across a screen map of Onpu
Island where you meet various opponents. As you
complete a stage against each opponent, new
opponents rise up to challenge you. Early levels
are simple but later levels scale up in difficulty
with larger smatterings of cues that appear in
rapid fire fashion.
» The blobs that appear and their
accompanying cues are as follows:
Blob Color /
Direction or Button
Red / Up arrow or X button
Green / Right arrow or A button
Blue / Down arrow or B button
Orange / Left arrow or Y button
» Tap on the blobs as they appear and then
move the d-pad or press the face button to
correspond to each tap. So, its a two step cue
process similar to what we saw in the PSP Audition
Portable game where hitting cues isn't enough but
you have to trigger them as well.
» In addition to tapping, you can also draw
circles or ovals around blobs as they appear on
screen and then push on the corresponding
direction or button.
» Multiple blobs that appear at once will
send elongated arrows across the cue track. You
have to keep the d-pad or face button pressed for
the duration of the cue as it hits the target area
on the cue track.
» As you hit the cues, you'll be ranked as
follows in order of priority:
MASTER
GREAT
GOOD
MISS
» Your chain combos will also be counted up
at the end of each stage along with your score and
rank.
» At the beginning of each match, the top
Nintendo DS screen is split evenly with five of
your blobs on the left side and five opponent
blobs on the right side of the screen. As your
performance prevails over the opponent, the blobs
push on the split screen against the opposing
bunch of blobs. If you win, your blobs basically
dominate the top NDS screen and push the opposing
blobs into a little sliver of the screen.
» Jumbo-sized blobs need two taps before they
disappear from the touch screen.
» The game starts to get challenging around
Stage 9 when the pink-colored garbed Suite (Ms
Suite, if you're nasty) enters the fray. Stage 10
features Rubato who's also on a challenging stage.
