SOTD Pocket Dream Console - Opened Like-New Import [SOLD]

NCS Game Synopsis
 «©NCS» In Japan, Tomy and Takara released a handheld gaming system on August 3, 2006 called the Pocket Dream Console. Months before that however, an Asian version of the PDC was released to the market crammed with exactly the same games that Tomy and Takara released. Here's one of the Asian Pocket Dream Consoles from a company named "Conny" which we procured a few months ago to test and evaluate. We're keeping our Tomy/Takara system but selling off this one. We only have one unit in stock and it has been opened and tested but the unit is in like-new condition. Why? Because we treat our gear tenderly.

In the box:
 1) Blue Pocket Dream handheld game with 2 batteries included
2) Composite AV cable for connecting the PDC to a television
3) English user instruction pamphlet with broken English throughout. The manual lists all 30 games and offers up an entertaining synopsis for each one. Read the description for "Crazy Moto" to get a cheap chuckle.

   Tomy and Takara released a handheld gaming system on August 3 called the Pocket Dream Console. Essentially a closed system with 30 built-in games and an AV port for output to television, the PDC is about the size of a Gameboy Micro. The unit runs on three AAA batteries with a 15-hour play time. The PDC also features a 2" backlit TFT screen. After fiddling around with the games for an hour or so, NCS consensus: Decent collection but some of the games are unabashed copies (read: rip offs of established games) while others would fit in some public domain game CD. There's a Loderunner clone with penguins and a near 1:1 copy of Taito's Puzzloop. View photos of the games.
