NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCS»
Soccer is a game of back and forth where the
players ebb and flow like the waves slapping on a
beach. Attack and retreat. The key to winning is a
careful balance of both actions where strikers on
the field attack with careful precision and
trudging motion while retreating defenders parry
opposing strikers. NCS likens soccer to one of the
principles in the I Ching where there is a time to
be strong and a time to hunker down.
Konami's J-League Winning Eleven 2007 Club Championship
game features all 18 J.League Division 1 clubs and
13 J.League Division 2 clubs for a total of 31
professional teams. In addition to the home grown
talent, European and South American pro teams are
also featured in the game for some international
flavor. Real world 2006-2007 season data is
utilized for the stats to keep it current. For
added authenticity, the team uniforms and each
player's unique likeness are featured in the game.
Game modes include World Tour, Master League, World Cup, and the
new Fantasista Mode where players take on the
persona of one player and develop skills to become
a superstar on the field.

NCS Game Notes
» Immediately after booting the game, you'll be
prompted to create a save data file on memory card
1.
» Intro: A graffiti style logo sequence followed
by live-action video of soccer players running on
the field and giving it their all. The logos of
the teams of the J-League are shown followed by
more television footage followed by more team
logos while a spinning decorated soccer ball
rambles around the screen. The title screen
appears after about 90 seconds of antics.
» When a game starts, the camera takes in the
field, the stands, and announcers pronounce the
game at hand. The two team logos are shown and the
camera switches to the team members walking out of
the concourse and onto the field to the cheers of
the throngs. Everyone lines up and some players do
a little stretching while others stand stoic with
hands to their sides. The faces of the players are
unique and bear likeness to their real world
counterparts. As the teams take the field, the
camera spins in on the kicker and its your time to
shine.
» The controls are refined and each soccer player
has substantial weight and inertia. When a player
gets going, his onscreen antics are realistic as
he chugs down the field, feints for the ball, and
exults when a goal is scored. The crowd's reaction
to the plays on the field are also realistic with
cheers when a goal attempt is defended
successfully. After the half, notable plays and
goal attempts are shown in reduced speed replays.
The recaps will keep playing until you press the
START button.
» When a player scores a goal, he'll cheer for
himself and the goal attempt will be shown from
three different angles in the replay including one
that's taken with a close-up camera.
