 NEWS Inclement Weather Overnight
«©NCS» Fierce winds and driving rain buffeted New York City last night and crippled the transit system. The roads and highways aren't pretty either due to lakes of standing water that formed last night. The kind of water that causes cars to float when the hapless drivers inside try to plow through like convoys. Except, he's in a Datsun and she's in a Ford Fiesta.
   Due to the problems in NYC this morning, our expected shipments of SD Gundam G Generation Cross Drive and the limited edition bundle are probably not going to arrive today. Neither are the Aizu Project Mai Shiranui figures or the Mieko Arai trading cards. If they do make it in later today, we'll process and ship all preorders this afternoon and update photos and scans on tomorrow's update.
Edit at 4:21PM EST: Gundam Cross Drive [game and LE bundle] arrived and all preorders ship today.  The Mieko Arai cards also arrived and preorders will ship today. Aizu Mai is also in the house but she's so big, we're going to have to ship the bulk of our preorders tomorrow. We need to get shipping boxes that are large enough to accommodate her.

«©NCS» Nearly a month after our Japanese supplier realized that they forgot to ship our Iroha 2 coldcast order, we finally receive the shipment this week along with the other toy shipments that arrived earlier in the week. There's a lot more toy shipments on the way that should all make it in by Thursday-Friday.
 
   Japanese manufacturer Musashiya releases a 1/5 scale Iroha 2 cold cast which was sculpted under the watchful eye of producer Ushio Karumagi. Iroha hails from the Samurai Spirits game series and made her first appearance in Samurai Spirits: Tenkaichi Kenkakuten. Ever since her debut, toy manufacturers and their hired guns have sculpted Iroha in a number of renditions.
 
   The new cold cast is fixed-pose and Iroha holds her blades Hourin and Ousai above her head. Iroha is dressed in her regulation-issue black and white uniform which shows off a full bosom. The height of the figure measures 36cm tall and the production is limited to only 200 pieces total. Pricing is set at JPY23,800 or US$249 from NCS and all preorders will ship today. «©NCS» When the GBA Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu game was released in Japan, Square Enix also released a limited edition bundle which included a turquoise-colored Gameboy Advance SP, a special GBA carrying pouch, and a copy of the Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu game. Based on our original store listing for this item, we used to sell these for US$195.
   For this particular offer, we've sold the Shinyaku Seiken Densetsu game but the GBA SP and the carrying pouch remain. The cardboard packaging is in very good condition. If you're a collector of GBA variants, this one will make a nice addition to your batch.
 
 

NDS Pink Nintendo DS JPN

 NDS Pink Nintendo DS w/ Battery Problem - [SOTD]
«©NCS» A candy pink Nintendo DS that's in excellent condition which includes the original box, strap, charger, and extra stylus. There is a serious defect with this particular unit however. If you plug the included AC adapter into the back of the unit, the battery inside won't recharge. What you'll have to do is remove the battery from the Pink NDS, plug it into another NDS and charge the battery in the other NDS. Once done, put the battery in the Pink NDS and you're good to go.
   The unit is otherwise in excellent condition and plays all NDS and GBA games. The screen is also perfect without any dead pixels and the hinges that keep the two screen together are still nice and tight.

«©NCS» The limited edition of Densha de Go! Final was released on May 26, 2004 and shipped in a special cardboard box. The LE bonus was a Yamanote Line/Series E231 train toy. The E231 series debuted on the Yamanote Line in 2002 and achieves a maximum speed of 120km/h to ferry salarymen, students and harried housewives to their daily rounds.
   NCS imported way too many of these back in the day and large numbers of the trains are available for sale. The games have been sold but the toy trains remain. As a bonus, you'll also get the nifty cardboard box.

«©NCS» The Neo Geo Pads for the Playstation 2 were never sold by themselves. SNK only bundled them with the King of King of Fighters '94 Re-bout Special Pack which was released on December 28, 2004. We've sold a bunch of these pads by themselves a few years ago by taking them out of surplus bundles. We thought we had sold all of them in the first wave of sales a few years ago. However, we've found another bunch and we're throwing them up for sale today. All stock is new and each pad is boxed in its original cardboard container with a bonus KOF strap.

«©NCS» When Omron released the Viaggio 56K modem on March 29, 2001, there was only one game that supported online functionality - Armored Core 2: Another Age. In the ensuing years, two more games were added to the online capable roster - Age of Empires II and Battle Gear 3. Pickings were scarce until the Multi-Matching BB compatible games from Capcom and SNK reached market.
   Stock is new but the packaging may have slight weathering from years of storage. Multiple units of this item are available for sale.
