Game Synopsis
«©NCS»
In a world known as Agarest, five continents hold
sway over the lineage of a family which spans five
generations. The game starts off with an
aristocrat-cum-knight named Leonhardt who's decked with feathered hair and
wears a crisp military uniform with white Versace
overcoat. Leonhardt has been assigned to a guard
post but deserts the military life after much
disenchantment with war. In the process of going
AWOL, he's mortally wounded by a conspiracy of
events but he's given a second chance at life by a
deity named Dishana. In exchange for his services, Leon is revived
and made into a Soul Container which allows him to live
a normal life and sire offspring with one of three
possible maidens to continue his bloodline.
Agarest Senki mixes interaction with tactical turn-based battles
where Leonhardt hunkers down to strategize on
skirmishes and then develops a relationship with a
girl. After Leonhardt's chapter is over, his son
Radius takes over the family business and woos a
bride to continue the bloodline... and so on and so
forth for a total of five generations.
Bonus Schwag
Early preorders for Agarest Senki will include a bonus

Game Notes
»
The courtship process in Agarest Senki is dubbed
the "Soul Breeding" system where a
girl is hooked by way of romance and interaction.
You know, sort of like how it's done in real life.
Missing from the Soul Breeding process are the late
night phone calls, the flowers, and the occasional
drunken spat which everyone regrets the next day.
» The three maidens that Leonhardt may choose
from in the first chapter are Elaine (brunette),
Luana (honey blonde), and Furia (purple-hair).
» To quell the speculation of nudity in the
game, please note the following: There is no
nudity in Agarest Senki. Nada. There are suggestive
poses and lots of leg, slender backs, and delicate
arms shown but please let it be known that there are
no boobies on display.
»
Similar to other S-RPGs, the battles in Agarest
Senki are broken up into two phases - movement and
attack. When a unit is selected, a grid array
appears which shows the limits of movement. Once
mobilized adjacent or close to an enemy, it's time
to attack and set off magic.
