Product Synopsis
«©NCSX»
The sequel to what's known as Etrian Odyssey
in the USA makes it into Japanese retail stores
today. Travel deep into the depths of a dungeon to
hunt monsters, search for treasure, and level up a
party of (up to) five adventurers. The game features
12 classes to use in the game including a paladin, a
swordsman, an alchemist, a ranger, a bard, and
others. Four stylizations for each class are
available for the choosing and a password transfer
function allows players of the first game to send
their data over to the sequel. Pet monsters may be
recruited as well to lend a helping paw in battle.
Bonus Schwag
Early preorders will include a bonus
Sekaiju
no Meikyuu 2 Original Soundtrack. While
supplies last, we'll include the bonus with new
orders.

Game Notes
» Name entry for the party members may be inputted
in katakana, hiragana, or English letters.
» The game starts in the Adventurer's Guild located
in Central City. Your first job is to create your
party from scratch and then name each member. Next,
position the party members in the front or back and
you're free to explore the world.
» Places to visit include the Palace of Raggard,
Steel Shiny Sharks Bar, Shitota Training Post, Royal
Herbal Academy, and the Flos Inn. Once you're done
exploring the town, head for the Forest Entrance and
go into the wilderness Koseki no Jyukai.
» The top NDS screen shows the view of the game
world from the perspective of the traveling party
while the touch screen shows an overhead map of the
area. The map legend is in English with notes for
Up, Down, and Party Map. The menu during an enemy
encounter is also in English with the following
selections:
ATTACK
DEFENCE (Note the British style spelling)
SKILL
ITEM
CHANGE
ESCAPE
» You may toggle the fighting to automatic by
pressing the L-Trigger. The party will then fight
until the monsters are all slain. The automated
function is "dumb" and mindless however and won't
take wounded party members into account and heal
them as they head towards death.
» The party faces the monsters during a battle and
the screen shakes Phoenix-Wright style when blows
land.
» The
Sekaiju
no Meikyuu 2
game is
in the style of Wizardry and the early Might & Magic
games where the walls flow pass the party when
they're traveling. The visual presentation is well
done and fans of the old school RPGs will be right
at home here.
