«©NCSX» Prior to joining the crew of the Straw Hat Pirates, Chopper was an outcast reindeer who was shunned by his kind because of the blue proboscis that poked out of his face. Confronted with a lonely existence, the Fates intervened when Chopper gobbled up the Hito Hito Fruit and became human-like in his thinking, mannerisms, and goofy antics. Newly empowered with cognition, Chopper joins Luffy's gang and serves as the Jolly's Roger's on-board physician.

   The One Piece franchise is a merchandising superstar thanks to its cast of likable characters. Banpresto played a big part in creating toys and plushes for an eager market. Today's sale offering is but one cog in the monstrosity that is the One Piece merchandising machine. The DX Chopper plush measures 10" tall and is thick. Like a ham hock.
