NCS Game Synopsis
«©NCSX» Girl gamers used to be a rare breed but their numbers have grown in recent years. Bandai targets the fairer demographic with a new romance adventure where lanky boxing boys are the objects of affection. Players attend Sakura Katsura Private Academy and make friends with a bunch of classmates and possibly find love amongst the rabble. Similar to other dating games, Duel Love features interactive scenarios where characters converse by way of multiple choice selections. For example, if a boy says he likes wrestling as much as boxing, you should agree that wrestling is fun to win his heart even if you secretly despise wrestling with every fiber of your being.

NCS Game Notes
 » The story in Duel Love revolves around a boxing club located within the deep confines of Sakura Katsura Private Academy. The boy boxers are students at the school and they're the romantic objectives in the game.

» If conversational interaction isn't enough, there's also "physical" contact where you manipulate a sponge with the stylus and help a boy scrub in the shower. Don't laugh. Boxers can get sweaty and they need help cleaning up.

» You can set the game to "AUTO" so that the story moves along by itself and you're free from having to tap on the "NEXT" button after every snippet of dialogue. There are long stretches in the game where absolutely no interaction is required by the player. You'll be watching and reading the story for the first 30 minutes of the game so the "AUTO" function is a useful one.

» Voice acting accompanies some of the dialogue in the game.
