«©NCSX» Reservations are welcome for a Square Enix exclusive (http://member.square-enix.com) soundtrack which collects 24 tracks of music from various Squaresoft games including FFVII, Front Mission 4, and Saga Frontier. Similar to the Mario Galaxy OST Platinum Edition which was exclusive to Club Nintendo, the Square Enix Music Vol. 1 soundtrack is only available on Square Enix's website for members. «©NCSX» Due to a slight snafu with the recent reproduction of the One Piece Portrait of Pirates Neo-1 toys, another manufacturing run is being prepared for delivery in June 2008.

   The very first production of the Portrait of Pirates Series 1 toys shipped in the Spring of 2004 and the Luffy figure has been re-released two times by the manufacturer Megahouse before. He'll get a third encore this summer. In the 1/8 scale sculpture, Luffy stands with legs slightly apart while he cracks his knuckles. The figure measures 20cm tall or 8" tall and a platform is included for display purposes. Luffy's straw hat is packaged with the figure in the toy container and may be slung around his neck. Preorders are welcome to ship in mid-late June 2008 at US$58.90 each.

«©NCSX» Megahouse's One Piece Portrait of Pirates toy figures are highly consistent sellers. Since 2004, NCS has known the series to perform well for our vendors and distributors. Sometimes that's all a trading house can really ask for in a world where the tastes of fickle consumers change like the wind. It took four years but Megahouse has started a variant of their OPPOP series with the Excellent Model Mild series which takes the characters of One Piece back about a decade to when they were younger, smaller, and still lugged around baby fat.

   Three characters are featured in the first of what will probably be four series' worth of toy releases. Each figure will be packaged with an extra head to change his or her mood.

Excellent Model Mild CB-1 (1) Monkey D. Luffy
   We figure Luffy's about 10 years old in his Excellent Model turn where he raises both arms in a victorious pose. He holds a knife in his right hand and the fork in his left hand is attached to a chop. Generally, we'd advise Luffy not to play with his food but maybe he's full and is just roaring at the cook (Sanji) for dessert. Or... he's complaining that the meat is too rare.

   When Nico was just a little girl on Ohara Island, she had an intense passion for archaeology. With diligence and studious ambition, Nico became a bona-fide archaeologist. However, harsh events conspired to bring Nico to the Straw Hat Pirates where she joined up with Luffy's merry crew. In the upcoming EMM figure, Nico carries a big book which she hefts with both hands. The book is most definitely about archaeology.

Excellent Model Mild CB-1 (3) Sanji
   Mini Sanji looks like Dennis the Menace with his golden blonde hair and diminutive stature. He looks askance at something or someone and if you read our description for Excellent Model Mild Luffy, he's probably peeved at Luffy for his "arms-outward" protestation. Since Sanji loves to cook, he's in chef duds and holds a blade in his right hand.
