Game Synopsis

Kunio, Rikki, and the rest of the gang are back in a
2D dodgeball game where hurling a ball and hurting
someone is what it's all about. The opposing teams
face each other on a small playfield where four
active team members play on each team. In addition
to the four primary players, three additional team
members are situated at the perimeter of the
opponent's side of the ring where they can also
shoot if they get a hold of the ball. The "B" button
is used to shoot and the "Y" button is used to
perform a kick attack if an opponent gets too close.
The "X" button punches and the "A" button is to duck
an oncoming missile. If a ball is headed at one of
your players, you can try to catch it by pressing
the "B" button at the right time.

Game Notes
»
A variety of playfields are available to play upon
including a savannah, Mount Fuji with cherry blossom
trees in the foreground, the Taj Mahal
where elephants congregate, and other exotic venues.
»
Occasionally, objects will drop onto the playfield
including rice balls for health, energy drinks,
vending machines, and garbage cans. The latter two
are to be used as projectiles to hurt the other
team. A bomb also appears from time to time to cause
explosive damage to the other team members. Finally,
banana peels may be picked up and thrown at
opponents but you can also slip on them if they're
on your side of the playfield.
» The punch and kick moves are useful when close to an
enemy and you need him to lose the ball quickly.
Each punch or kick does 1 point of damage. When an
enemy dies, he becomes an angel, floats into the sky
and is waxed from the game.
» When your team wins, they'll jump up and down to
celebrate before heading onto the next team and
setting.
