Game Synopsis

The company that brought Solid Snake, Yu-Gi-Oh, and
BeyBlade to the world tests the interactive gaming
waters with an adventure scripted by Takehiko Hata
who's recent works include
Chekeraccho! (2006) and Unfair the Movie (2007).
Junko Kawano of Suikoden series fame and
Shadow of Memories serves as director.
Horo Tokio is a high school student who's been given the gift of
viewing and changing the past. The instrument that
allows Horo such power is a pen which is used to
scribble circles which serve as time warps . As the
story goes, Horo wakes up one day to find that his
parents are gone. By wielding his time intervention
and manipulation pen, Horo endeavors to find his
parents and solve the mystery of their
disappearance.

»
Horo's in his room when the game starts. There's a
television, a bed, desk, and a couple of bookcases.
To pan slightly to the left, tap and drag the touch
screen to the right and a cat may be seen lying on
the bed. Time Hollow is a touch-investigation game
where objects are tapped to determine their
relevance or lack thereof in the adventure. At one
point, Horo's hand is lifted up to show multiple red
scratches on his skin.
» There's not much to do in the room so you'll want
to leave but simply tapping on the "EXIT" icon on
the upper right corner of the screen won't do it.
Events must be triggered before you're allowed to
proceed so tap on the two green books located on the
right of the screen and then tap on the table to
trigger two separate events. Next, tap on the "EXIT"
icon to go downstairs and join Horo's parents for
dinner.
» The centerpiece on the table is a large salad and
what appears to be a meatloaf entree is situated in
front of Horo and his parents. Dad's got a beer,
mom's got tea, and Horo's got what's probably a
carbonated beverage. A bottle of soy sauce and
another bottle containing salt are near Horo.
» Talk to dad, Wataru. Talk to mom, Aki. Talk to dad
again. Talk to mom who's asks you to pass the salt.
Dad gets perturbed and leaves the table. That's your
cue to excuse yourself and head back to your room
for a short while. Outside, a dark stranger has
caused Horo's cat to go on alert... Tap on the
window to open it and then head downstairs again
where a visitor has arrived. After dad has a
conversation with their caller, Horo rejoins his
parents at the table.
» After speaking to mom, Horo returns to his room.
To go to sleep, tap on the cat to make it leave and
then tap on the bed. The lights go out and the
Sandman takes over.
» A fitful sleep awaits Horo where a younger version
of himself and his parents are caught in an inferno.
A time tunnel appears with Horo's voice screeching
as Dad carries Mom into the tunnel where they
disappear. Horo's cat greets him when he wakes up
and a time tunnel may view seen near his bed. Horo
also notices the scratches on his right hand are
gone. Later, he realizes his parents are gone...
