«©NCSX» It's been five years since Sega released Initial D: Special Stage on the PS2. The game sold very well and a number of printings were made to fill demand in Japan, Asia, and abroad. Based on the sales numbers for the first home console conversion of Initial D, NCS can only assume that the upcoming Initial D: Extreme Stage will do just as well if not better than its forebear.

   PS3 Initial D: Extreme Stage is based on Initial D Arcade Stage 4 which was originally built on Sega's Lindbergh coin-op hardware. The game features seven main courses such as Lake Akina and Irohazaka but if you factor in the variations, the course count runs up to 28 tracks. There's 23 vehicles that may be driven including the Toyota Trueno GT-APEX (AE86), Mitsubishi Lancer GSR Evolution III (CE9A), Nissan Skyline GTR V-Spec II (BNR32), and the Honda Civic Type R (EK9). «©NCSX» In the One Piece Skypiea storyline, Luffy and crew travel from the sea to the sky where they sail the "White Sea" which is made of clouds. The pirates soon discover that there's a war in progress between two factions as well as a megalomaniac named Enel that's on the loose. It is in the Skypiea story arc that Robin gains the trust of Luffy and Company and becomes a full-fledged member of the Straw Hat Pirates.
  
   Megahouse's Neo-5 production of the popular Portrait of Pirates figure features Nico Robin from the Skypiea story arc and the cape-wearing Sogeking (Usopp's alter-ego) who's armed with his Kabuto slingshot weapon. Each fixed-pose figure measures 20cm or approximately 8" tall and is constructed out of PVC material. Nico's figure includes a cowboy hat which may be donned or doffed and Sogeking is bundled with the aforementioned Kabuto weapon and a removable helm. Preorders are welcome to ship in late July 2008 at JPY5040 or US$63.90 from NCS.

Phantasy Star Complete Collection - Sega Direct
   All preorders for the Sega Direct version of PSCC were shipped on Friday of last week. If we're able to order additional quantities from vendors who purchased their own allocation of the bundle from Sega Direct, we'll update our website accordingly. A scan of the Soundtrack may be viewed here.
Arkanoid Paddle Controllers
   Since there won't be a USA version of the Arkanoid paddle controller, there's been a mad rush on our remaining inventory in the past few days. We currently only have silver and pink units remaining but we'll check with Japanese suppliers for possible restock of the black and white versions.
