NDS Oshiri Kajiri Mushi no Rhythm Lesson DS - New, In Stock
NCS Product Synopsis
«©NCSX»
When the populace of Japan becomes somber and perhaps withdrawn from one another, there's only one solution to reverse the malaise. A butt-biting-insect known as Oshiri Kajiri Mushi who only has four appendages versus the usual six and his troupe of dancers known as the Kajiri Gals. By biting people in the butt, Oshiri Kajiri Mushi brings mirth and happiness back into the citizenry of Nihon.

In Sega's new Rhythm Lesson DS, the insects serve as music teachers where rhythm exercises on virtual instruments are all that's needed to become somewhat musically inclined. The software includes a large selection of music and 100 classical piano arrangements for nearly 7 hours of tunes and easy listening.

NCS Game Notes
» In the intro to the game, Oshiri may be seen spying on and then biting the backsides of assorted citizens. Oshiri seems to perform his job with extreme glee and viewers will watch him dance, visit a shrine, clown around, and even attend a wedding that he helped bring about.

» The title screen of the game features a dancing Oshiri on the top screen while the touch screen shows a blue-trousered posterior that's ripe for biting.

» The game demands rhythmic tapping in time to the Oshiri cue on the touch screen. For example, the first game features a tambourine and a little Oshiri that rotates around the percussion instrument. Your job is to hit the tambourine with the stylus or your finger every time Oshiri reaches the star cues that circle the instrument.

» One complaint that we have to lodge is the visibility of the cues on the screen. When using the stylus on the touchscreen, there are times when the stylus will block a star cue from view. It gets worse if you use your thick and pudgy index finger.

» The game keeps track of your rhythm exercise progress by way of a gauge located on the right side of the top screen. Each time you hit a cue just right, a wide-mouthed Oshiri moves up the meter and ever closer to a pair of buttocks.
