«©NCSX» In September of 2007, NCS and sellers in Nihon stocked the Japanese version of the Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core PSP bundle. It's possible that European gamers looked on with envy and cried for equality because something like that would never be released in Europe. Nine months later and against all odds, equality's late but it's coming.

   For players around the world who missed out on the Crisis Core PSP the first time around, another chance will arrive next week. That's when Square Enix does the unthinkable and releases the special Final Fantasy PSP on the Continent. We checked but hell hasn't frozen over nor have pigs begun to fly. Whatever it is, we think it's one small step closer to an even playing field for our brothers in Europe.  

   Preorders are welcome starting today for the European version of the Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core PSP and pricing is set at US$329. For that price, you'll get the Crisis Core PSP and a copy of the Crisis Core game which is multi-language. Please note that since the PSP is a European model, it will include a 240V power adapter which is unusable in the USA unless a 120V-240V converter is used. Since we don't want anyone to blow up their PSPs or set the dog on fire, a carefully worded warning will be included with every order regarding the 240V AC adapter.

   Based on the information from our suppliers thus far, a Buster Sword keychain isn't included but we'll confirm this information in the next few days. Preorders will ship on or around June 20.

«©NCSX» It's been about 10 years since Marl Oukoku no Ningyou Hime landed on the Playstation and introduced the citizenry of Japan to "a musical adventure." The game's been re-released twice on the Playstation under the "PSOne Books" banner and in a special +1 edition. Due to the amount of time that has passed since the last re-release, no one's going to mind a third printing. After all, Square does it all the same.

   In the game, players join a young girl named Cornet who has the power to communicate with puppets. During her travels, these puppets join Cornet's party and help her by battling opponents. The NDS conversion features an Encore Theater function. The full name for this game is: Marl Oukoku no Ningyou Hime: Tenshi ga Kanaderu Ai no Uta. «©NCSX» Tecmo's Zero (Fatal Frame) franchise returns this summer with a new adventure that takes place on a spooky island. A few years ago, five girls were brought to the island against their will. In the ensuing rescue attempt, two of the girls were killed but three were saved and spirited back home. Years later, the survivors return to the island to determine what exactly happened and come to terms with their traumatic ordeal.
   The Camera Obscura remains the weapon of choice in the new Zero game which is controlled by the Wiimote. The nunchuk is used to maneuver the heroines in the game as they explore dank areas haunted by vengeful spooks.

«©NCSX» Chunsoft originally released Imabikisou last year on the Playstation 3. Built on the strictures of Japanese cinematic horror, the sound novel featured slow pacing, gloomy hues, and discordant audio effects when the occasion called. The game is now headed to the Wii.
   The Playstation 3 original featured six horror scenarios and the Wii update includes two new chapters to compel fans to open up their wallets and buy the game again.
